Everything is subjective, but this really is the velcro nylon watch band if you're planning on being active. The band IS thicker than any other I've seen/tried on, which is either a pro or con for you - Me personally it was a plus. Very comfortable. Stays out. Velcro goes ALL the way to the END TIP of the strap, keeping it flush and secure. Does NOT get caught on things all the time (pockets, clothing ect). Because the smartwatch I paired this with has a larger case size (about 52mm) the larger band fits aesthetically very well. For those with less than a 50mm case the band might look/feel overly large/wide. 👌 (For reference, my wrist size is 7.5" and watch case diameter in pic is 52mm)

Theses straps are awesome. I primarily get them for my rugged, wear in the heat, wear in the water, active straps. They are very comfortable to wear and you can always get a good fit because you adjust the position with Velcro. The straps don’t wear out easily either. There wear for a long time. I have about 8 watches that I use these straps on!!

Great band. Comfortable and durable. The Velcro does wear out over time and will have to be replaced, but at this price that's acceptable. My first band lasted 2 1/2 years before the bond was to loose and I had to repurchase.

UPDATE: Less than a year later, I'm finding I need to replace the band. The Velcro had gotten worn and I just doesn't grab like it should, I don't trust it completely. This is my daily watch, so at least once a day I put it on and take it off. For the first 9 months, it was perfect. The band itself is still in great condition. In the last month or so I find the connection of the Velcro is not as tight, and I'm not comfortable with the way it holds. I'm ordering another one, and we'll see how that lasts... I spent a lot of time trying to find a band replacement for my watch because it's a 22MM width and apparently that's harder to find than I thought it would be. This band comes in so many sizes, I don't know why it didn't show up sooner in my search, that's a failure on Amazon's part. Having worn it now for about a week, I can say: this is a great replacement and an insanely comfortable watch band. The width is perfect for this watch, and the pins are easy to open. They actually have small "handles" on them to make sliding open easy without damaging the watch, and the watch band has an extended flap that covers the pins so nothing rubs against your skin. The inside of the band is soft and reasonably resistant to sweat, it doesn't stick to your arm in normal wear (I haven't gone hiking with it yet). The outside of the band is well made and the velcro is VERY strong. It's only the first week, but I have a LOT of confidence in this band. I will post an update in a couple months after I've given it some outdoor use, but as an initial review I highly recommend this as a replacement band. UPDATE: After wearing this for some time I have one complaint. I wish this reinforcing piece had been stitched with velcro rather than leather. If you have narrow wrists as I do, the end of the strap sticks out and catches on things. Or you have to loosen the band and let it flop around. If that was velcro we could connect it there. Aside from that, no complaints, love it

Ok. This is actually a quick release band. Meaning it has the quick release posts that connect to the watch. I use for my garmin forerunner 255 music. It’s comfortable and feels good. The Velcro is sturdy and solid. The color is good. It was easy to install, but that shouldn’t be a surprise since that’s the point of a quick release band. I’d buy again, but hopefully I won’t need to.

put this on a seiko divers watch. the quick pins makes it easy to do without any tools. I have not taken the watch into the pool, so I can’t comment on that aspect.
