Don't listen to negative reviews. This is a great amp in a box!
the couple of people who gave bad reviews don't have a clue how to set these UA pedals up. This is an incredible sounding unit! UAFX rocks!

Great tones, unreliable Bluetooth connection and disappointing phone app
This pedal produces some quite amazing tones, for sure. It has a depth, clarity and "feel" that truly emulates a guitar amp. In a studio situation, I see this as a great tonal option to have. For me, it has glaring flaws that prevent me using it for live use.One issue is the highly unreliable Bluetooth app. I had constant issues getting the app to fully launch on my iPhone, even after I confirmed the Bluetooth connection was there. The app would always revert to another screen when the phone went to sleep, requiring that I recall the current pedal settings. This was maddening while programming and testing settings on the app. Given all the processing power available for amazing tones, its sad that UA didn't do a better job with the app.The pedal has an enormous amount of potential output gain, and I found the "master volume" knob to be extremely sensitive. So much so, that finding a balance between pedal on and off modes difficult to set. For live use, this would be something I would frequently need to adjust, and I wish there was a more practical "lower range" sweep to make it manageable.Another issue is that although you can save and re-load user, factory and "artist" presets, there is no way to see all the setting values. Thus, the unit's knobs and switches mean little when you recall a preset, nor can you determine what "under the hood" settings were used. This is a major flaw that I can't live with, but others may not care about.Consequently, the Bluetooth and problematic app make it highly unreliable and difficult to implement for stage use. I would consider trying the pedal again if UA makes substantial improvement to the app. The tones are amazing, but I can't give it more than 3 stars. Even for studio use, I'd be reluctant to give it 4 stars. YMMV of course.Lastly, I tried to contact UA regarding concerns about Bluetooth and the app. The website uses a virtual "bot" to spew responses that were of no use, and gave me a cold, disconnected impression of the company. Small pedal builders like REVV Amplification, Keeley and JHS have provided very personal support over the years. I don't get the impression that will come from UA.

This is a terrible product, and extremely overpriced, also customer service is nonexistant
I am a longtime professional musician with over 50 years experience gigging in many situations. There are so many problems with this pedal it is hard to know where to begin. First, it does not have true bypass and often stays on somewhat even when disengaged. The bass, treble, and mid controls do nothing in some modes and almost nothing in others. There are some decent sounds in it but they are difficult to find and none of them are as good as my other amp simulator pedal which costs 1/10th of what this one costs. The pedal is very noisy, much more so than my $40 one. Finally. I tried it on one gig and there it would not work AT ALL, NO SOUND! To add to this is the fact that the customer service for this company is nonexistant, only an AI robot which at first denied that this comapny even MAKES this pedal, UNBELIEVABLE!

Worst sounding example of a mythological item that has been so overhyped save your money
The purchase of this was not some thing where I said oh I know what it is I’m gonna go for it I have one of their pedals And while it’s OK it’s decent I understand what they mean about customer support because it’s nonexistent but the guys who designed the stuff they just want to put stuff out and get it in peoples hands and sell it and overprice it the fact of the matter is is that this is one of the worst examples of someone trying to pass something off is something that no one can tell it’s not unless you have played through one of these amplifiers. Having played for seven in my life and spend time with them I’m no expert but I don’t understand one thing that this was this was a myth just like the amp make her itself it’s an over priced POS it doesn’t need to be created
