So, I tried a 2XLT which fit perfect in the body, but was too long in length. So, I decided to get a 2XL, and thinking I had zeroed in on the right size, I also bought another pattern by the same maker.The 2XL I received of the EL Matador Maya Blue pattern was much smaller than either of the other two I tried - it did not come close to fitting. I had to do a double-check to make sure the manufacturer name was the same, as the shirt seemed so different in sizing from the first two. I do not know if the manufacturer has two production lines working from different patterns, or if this one was mislabeled, or maybe they changed their sizing patterns at some point, or if there is some other issue. Whatever the cause; the end result is that there is no reliable way to know the actual fit that you will receive. Very disappointed, as I really liked this pattern and wanted to get it for an upcoming trip.Meanwhile, the additional Artisan Outfitters shirt I bought in the other pattern (High Tide Midnight Blue) which was also a 2XL fit exactly as expected. perfect in body and length.
