Gorgeous flash effect
LOTS of flash! The color change is subtle but that’s normal because the cat eye metal particles cover a lot of the color, which is fine because it looks awesome. I could have been happy with one coat but wanted a deep cat eye effect. This is two coats. A lot of people are complaining that it’s more purple and pink, but you have to remember that it is color changing from purple to pink. It will be different depend depending on temperature. Honestly, one of the best cat eye nail polish I’ve tried.

I got the shade "blue"
Loooove this polish. This is definitely the thickest of my gel polishes, cat eye included. Just something to be mindful of. I found that I helped when I opened the polish & swirled the brush/handle around in circles *as* I slowly removed the brush/handle, that way it removed some of the excess polish. Also be mindful not to just jam the brush back in the bottle, bc it's a thicker polish & there are air bubbles, you don't want it to spill ouy. Basically just be careful when using this, as you should any & all gel products. You DO need a full size lamp. Not just a flash cure lamp. And not just until they feel dry, keep them under the 48W full size lamp for the full 60 seconds. If you get any on your skin, use a brush & acetone (not alcohol) to wipe it off before curing. I used a detail brush to bring it out to my nail wall/cuticles & to level the polish out the way I would builder gel. The color is amazing! I haven't tried it over blue or black, only this grape purple color, & it turned out great. Outside/under direct light, it looks like labradorite 🔮🩷 I got the shade "blue." I'm mostly getting teal flash & purple flash depending on angle/lighting & holographic rainbow flecks but, it's not very blue lol. Anyway, I still think it looks great & highly recommend! I got some nail stamps to try & after figuring those out I put tarot nail stamps over this polish for a super ethereal set 💅

beautiful polish b with endless color opportunities!
very pretty nail polish but it's quite think as the other reviews mention. if you don't have experience working with cateyes this may be a bit frustrating to use as there are both cateye pigments and straight glitter. in direct light the cateye is a nice teal color, in indirect light the cateye is purple. and from certain angles all you can see are the holographic glitters. but overall this is a lovely nail polish for the price. the first 2 photos are over a black base and the last one is polish on its own.

Gorgeous but color match isn't spot on
I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. Price point, size of the bottle being bigger and the small but mighty magnet I didn't know even came with it are the main positives. Very easy to use as well. What I don't like so much is how extremely thick the polish is. At first I assumed it was just due to being outside in the freezing temps upon delivery but week later when I went finally use it it's still very much thick. I tried setting it in hot water like someone had suggested in their review and it did help a tad. Lastly, and I'm aware the product photos are done on nails with no base color; which I did try I just didn't cure it and didn't get a photo unfortunately, so I did a quick swatch on notebook paper if that even shows well enough and I used the polish on my nails over 5 different base colors to see how it looks and it sadly doesn't really seem to be as advertised. Now it's close, I guess, I see more blue And green instead of blue, purples and pinks which is what I wanted as I have a few chameleon cat eye polished already that look similar. I still think the polish is a pretty and fun one to have so it is what it is. I'll keep searching for one that has the color shift I want I suppose.

Aaaaaamazzzzing!
It’s a beautiful cat eye! I put 2 layers on and it’s sorta a lavender gray color. Then I used the magnet to do the cat eye effect. That is a a gorgeous icy artic blue. I paired it with an icey blue polish as you can see in the video. It’s hard to make a good vido to see that gorgeous cat eye effect. Look at the pointer finger, you can see it in the video. This is my first time working with cat eye polish. I am in love with these colors!! Amazing product! Most defy going to purchase more of this brands polish!

Born Pretty Cat Magnetic Gel Nail Polish, Sea Blue Crystal Cat, Holographic Magnetic Nail Art
This nail gel surprised me! All i could think was WOW! I always wanted my nails to look like the online versions of cat eye polish ive seen, and this definitely offered that look! Very clear, and that shine is absolutely amazing!!! For the price its definitely worth it and a decent size bottle! This product seemed very smooth for me and glided on correctly, although it is on the thicker side, since it has to hold in the magnetic particles, so be sure to apply thin coats. I put mine over nice covering cyan neon teal color(that i cured fully first and wiped the floating gel), I realized having a fully covered, (make sure its fully covered with no nail bed showing) bright blue underneath, provided the best results because of the reflective properties shining against the back color. I imagine other bright colors would add just as nice results! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice cat eye gel polish! *Note* Be sure to apply thin coats, curing each layer appropriately, remove floating gel after full cure, and use a good shiny top coat for best results*

Not as Advertised, Still Pretty
For reference, I bought the Born Pretty Cat Magnetic Eye Gel Nail Polish,Blue Tears color. While it is very pretty, it is absolutely not as advertised. The base is not clear - it is gray which is disappointing as I was looking for a replacement for the Gaoy version of Mermaid Tears (which doesn't have enough magnetic pigment and thus doesn't work as a cat eye). The pink is very subtle, and it's more blue than anything. As mentioned in other reviews, the polish is very thick which is whatever to me.

Gorgeous color but peels off fast for me
I really wanted to love this because the color is absolutely stunning—rich, vibrant, and exactly as pictured. However, my experience using it has been frustrating, especially when it comes to how it wears and cures. The polish goes on smoothly, and at first, it looks great. But within a few hours, it starts peeling off like glue. I followed the instructions carefully and cured it under my lamp for the recommended 60 seconds, but it stayed sticky. Thinking maybe it needed more time, I cured it even longer, but it never fully set. It remained tacky to the touch, and layering more just made it worse. There also aren’t any additional instructions provided about how to prevent peeling or stickiness, so it was really confusing. I used a white base coat as recommended for better opacity, and even then I had to reapply to get full coverage. Despite doing everything I could, it barely lasted three hours before it started lifting. I kept reapplying, but it just wouldn’t stay. I’m not sure if it’s user error or a product issue. Maybe I need more practice with gel polish, but I’ve used other brands before without this problem. That being said, the color is really gorgeous and bold, and for a one-day look or photos, it works beautifully. Just don’t expect long wear unless you can figure out the exact technique that works for this specific formula. I might try again, but only because the shade is that pretty.

Doesn't even look like the product picture at all.
I ordered this magnetic polish based on the photo of the effect. It doesn't look like that at all. It's the worst looking magnetic polish I've ever used. I wiped it all off before curing it and used a different polish. I am beyongld disappointed.

Flashes like labradorite
This is easily my favourite cat eye polish in my collection. It looks very much like labradorite, and the flash is blue/teal/purple from different angles. It’s not quite as saturated as the photos, but it’s still pretty bright! I used a spinning magnet for a glass bead effect and it turned out stunning! Reviews saying it looks grey probably just looked at the polish on the brush without applying it and magnetizing it. It has holographic flakes which makes it look dull before applying it. I will agree with other reviewers that this polish is particularly thick so application can be a bit challenging. It’s worth it.
