I am just getting into sourdough bread making and was recommended rattan baskets for shaping and design. These baskets are good quality, including for the price.Don’t make my mistake on my first batch of bread, the fabric is the cover for the basket lol my other batches after had a nice design from the basket pattern.Product comes with 2 round shaped baskets and fits medium to larger loafs. Make sure to flour well to prevent dough from sticking. A bit of a pain of clean if you get dough on it due to the creases but I expect will be less work with learning curve to flour more. Would recommend. It’s not necessary for making sourdough bread, but does make the product more aesthetically pleasing.

This kit has all of the tools for the second-half of baking sourdough. I do wish it had two proofing baskets, as it doesn't pay for me to make 1 loaf, so I always make 2 at a time. I ended up purchasing a separate proofing basket, as I didn't want two of all the other tools.

I make sourdough loaves from scratch using wild yeast. I use a banneton for the final rise before I lower the dough into the dutch oven for final baking.These two bannetons looked nice when I first removed them from the packaging. However, when I removed the liners I noticed how poorly crafted they are.The rattan is held together by small staples and the end of one is split. The banneton I normally use does not have this issue.These will probably do the job for a short period of time but it is evident they are cheaply made. There are many bannetons on the market to choose from. Shop around.

Holds flour well.However, these are not 9". The inside diameter is 8.0625 inches.These work well for one pound loaf and I like that they came as a two pack without added accessories.

I used both of these yesterday. They worked great! The shape was uniform, the cloth covers worked great, the bread was perfect!

This set of basket and accessories was it! I used this in conjunction with another set because I was making my first sourdough bread loaves. It held the dough nicely overnight in the refrigerator. Very easy to use and clean. A lot of accessories came with it. Excellent quality! I definitely recommend!

We like these baskets a lot, and we like that they're made of natural fibers. Also, we like that you can order these without a whole "kit" of the tools, bowls, etc. Once you're in the rhythm of bread making, you don't always need the extra paraphernalia. These are really good as replacement baskets.

If you need an extra set of banneton bowls, this is perfect. It can help you have more space to make your sourdough loaves. They arrived in great condition.
