Easy to use and structured

I’m just starting this book and it looks promising - 1 book that covers content from beginner to advanced level. Also, as a languages teacher, I hope to learn some tips and methods I can use in my own practice.

Perfect for beginners

This has everything I need to know from grammar and vocabulary to pronunciation and the way it’s structured is very easy to understand which I’ve struggled with on other books. Couldn’t recommend this book enough!

Looks useful and easy to follow but I can’t find any study plan and it’s not clear what 15 minutes each day should cover. Couldn’t find these in the bonus material either, even though they are clearly stated on the book cover

Exactly what I needed. That language learning app with the creepy owl is useful in its own way, but doesn't go in depth into grammar. Hopefully by the time I move to Spain I can at least get by day to day.

Good book for beginners, very clear

I just brought the book but it looks like a very through, so I will be looking forward to trying it out

The logical progression of the book and simple explanation of grammar makes it easy to follow. However, the practices use words and phrases (often difficult) that you have not been introduced to yet. You would think that there would be some explanation or English translation to these phrases, but no. The answers at the back of the book do not help either, as they do not explain the WHY for the correct answers. It's like learning how to swim in a kiddie pool but once it's time to actually swim you are thrown into the ocean! As a result you are forced to look up the translation online yourself, which to me defeats the whole purpose of this book. Aside from this there are many errors along the way, including a full paragraph in Spanish on Indefinite Adjectives (see picture). And don't bother downloading the "bonus material". Really not worth it.

parfait! J'ai appris l'espagnol il y a quelques années et je voulais rafraîchir mes souvenirs. Ce livre est parfait pour reprendre les bases. Il est léger, et plutôt petit donc très facile a transporter pour pouvoir travailler n'importe où. Je pense commander l'autre tome pour approfondir la grammaire par la suite.
