Lanique Spirit of Rose Liqueur, 70 cl

Following a cocktail night at a bar on the weekend before Lockdown 1 (yes back in Feb 2020!) where we tasted some delicious Lanique cocktails we bought a bottle of this as a gift for a friend who was already a fan. Not long later they told us how much they had been enjoying it and trying the different recipes (there's a really cool cocktail book that comes with it!) so we got a bottle for ourselves too. As a liqueur it's beautifully rose flavoured which gives this drink a real uniqueness and if you like Turkish Delight/have a 'grown up' taste for sweet cocktails then this will be well up your street! It's even nice as a shot with a squeeze of fresh lime juice - simples. This is a must buy for anyone with a cocktail corner or display cabinet as the bottle is very pretty and the colour is such an eye catcher! Worth saying that I hate gin and this is NOT gin! It really is something a bit special and when mixed with gin I actually enjoyed gin for the first time ever! When we're through with it we'll be buying more for sure!

Many years ago, we used to go to a little bar in London that served the most amazing rose vodka in a shot. Since the shop shut down i have been trying to find this taste again, and i finally have! This liqueur is amazing, strong enough to give you a light burning sensation, and very sweet. If, like me, you like your drinks sweet, this is for you. So glad I found this!

I have been purchasing this for many years now, ever since I went to a very posh restaurant and I asked the usual question 'What Bellini type flavours do you have' and this restaurant said Rose and then ran through the other standard options. So I chose Rose and it was simply delicious. I saw the bottle they used on the bar was this make and I ordered it the next day. I have since had many parties and I always offer this as a drink and the ladies always say 'Oh let us have a try' and I know a few who have since gone on to purchase it themselves. Beware it is high % volume so you are likely to get tipsy if you put just a dab too much in.

This is a nice drink but it doesn't taste quite like I was expecting it to (I was looking for a rose petal type vodka drink). It's very sweet. I think I need to experiment with it a bit more to find the correct mixer for it.

Ordered this as looked like a refreshing change to the normal spirits you find and my friends and I were doing a cocktail zoom... Yay 2021 haha. I don't often write reviews but was really impressed with this amazing new addition to my drinks cabinet!!! Not only was it fantastic in the cocktails we made but i've actually really enjoyed it with tonic on a Friday night! I cannot recommend this enough for anyone who wants to try something sweet but different from your bog standard vodka/gin/rum - slice of lime and ice - you cannot go wrong! Thank you lanique - you might just get me through lockdown 3.0

Had a few cocktails prepared for us with it. Seems to taste quite nice, but it also helps if the other liquor you use is good quality so it doesn't overpower the taste too much (tried with double cross vodka)

Absolutely LOVE this product - where has it been all my life lol The rose taste is very strong which is what I really like. Mixed with some bitter lemonade it is beautiful! I like how it's still 39% as I don't really enjoy weaker drinks haha :) The colour is gorgeous and very photogenic! Lanique is one of my favourite liquers now. It is on the sweeter side so keep that in mind if you like more bitter alcohols but for me, it's great! Would 100% recommend and I encourage you to give it a go if you are thinking about it! :)

I wouldn’t be surprised if this product is on every shelf in every bar/drinks cabinet by the end of the year! Such a unique taste and so versatile! I love it! Like a boozy Turkish delight but not in an over powering way so you’ll still like it even if you don’t like Turkish delight! And it looks so elegant! Great packaging to go with a magnificent product! I love it on it’s own over ice, brilliant to add some colour to a Prosecco, awesome way to mix up some of your favourite cocktails! I can’t recommend it enough!
