Women's Switchback II Lined Long Jacket

I've ordered this specific Columbia jacket style in size XXL twice but in different colors. This review is going to be for the Razzle coat. It does run larger than the Black color, although they are the same size. This jacket does have a lot of positives to it, namely, that it covers my bottom and it's a great price for a longer, lightweight rain jacket. The inner lining has a cottonish/rayonish/ kind of velvety feeling fabric so it seems breathable and provides a little bit of warmth, but it's not as easy as sliding on as say a mesh lining or plastic lining would be. The zipper slides up and down easily. The hood covers my head and hair, but I wish the adjusters were different...they are kind of flat and you have to pinch to adjust. It's an attractive shape on my figure for a raincoat, and it has a slight flare at the bottom. I didn't notice much noise from the outer material. The cons for me are the sleeves are very long, almost covering my fingertips. They are also quite large, almost frumpy looking. I'm 5'8, around a size US 14/16 with wide hips and carry weight in my lower belly. I'm not busty. This color comfortably fit around my stomach/hip area and accommodated that area nicely when sitting down and I didn't fear the zipper would split. I tried this on with a light/medium density sweater. I wasn't able to test the efficacy as I returned it. I may try another color and see if it fits comfortably around the stomach area while not looking frumpy elsewhere. I'm also attaching photos of a few other Columbia styles I've tried on. Hope this helps someone trying to find an attractive, yet affordable raincoat.

I bought this jacket so I can walk in our Seattle rain. It’s lined but not a heavy jacket. It keeps we warm and dry but I don’t overheat in it on my walks. Style and quality is spot on. Normally it drizzles a lot where I live. This jacket fits me perfectly. The hat keeps the rain out of my face. I got it on sale for $29. Great value for the money. Definitely recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am a true to size XL/14 to 16 depending on the brand and I ordered a 2X and it fit PERFECTLY. I’m so glad I read the review to size up because it does run small. That being said, it’s perfect for cold California weather. Very lightweight, lining is soft and comfortable and great for drizzle weather. Folds up nicely, not bulky at all and covers my bum and hips but still looks flattering. I probably can’t wear a bulky sweater under this, but it’s great for T-shirts underneath or a thin, long sleeve. Definitely keeping and recommending this. Worth the money!

I absolutely love Columbia rain coats. I try to look for sales when I can but would be willing to pay full price if I needed it immediately. This lightweight lightly fleece lined rain jacket is waterproof and blocks the rain just fine. I wore this same jacket to Scotland in the unpredictable weather and it was a life saver. It is slightly longer but well above the knees. The quality is what you would expect. It is a good layer for warm, dryness, and comfort.

Nice material, beautiful color. Lining is soft. Very slim fit. I'm 5'4" 132 lbs. I got medium. I could not fit anything more than a t-shirt under it and the sleeves are too long for me. I returned it.

I looove this jacket sooo much! It’s so warm & cozy! And it really keeps you feeling cheery in the rain! And the navy blue one is so equestrian chic! The photos online really don’t do it justice! And it’s like of better quality than jackets I’ve bought for multiple times the price! It’s literally so lovely in every way! Thank you, Columbia! 💙 (P.S. I feel the fit is definitely TTS in case it helps anybody debating what size to get.)

Quality seems good. Very narrow in the shoulders, still snug even with just a tshirt on. Lined but not heavy.

I love this jacket! It’s waterproof, lined for comfort and warmth, and it’s a great length. I usually wear a large but sized up to an XL based on reviews and it fits great. Sleeves are a bit long but it doesn’t bother me. The hood fits well and is comfortable and wide enough to keep my head (and hair!) dry. It’s a GREAT value compared to other pricey brands! It’s lightweight and will be great for spring and fall in NY.

Jaqueta bem bonita, veste muito bem. Utilizei na Patagonia como corta vento, por cima de um fleece. Atendeu perfeitamente.

I love my jacket. I have two different colours in this style, I like it that much. It's perfect for walking, you don't feel the wind whatsoever so you feel warmer. It's perfectly rain proof and I love the length. The sleeves a little long but the velcro cuffs help with that. It's great that you can tighten the hood, too. If it had an inside pocket, and perhaps a button on the outside so that I don't always have to zip it then it would be perfect. I love Columbia products.
