The downsides are: Apart from the glass jug it is all plastic and feels generally flimsy. Getting the lid off the jug to wash it is very difficult. The coffee has to be poured very slowly to avoid it dripping. Review: Not a good Krups product... - This was sadly a waste of money and expensive. We thought of replacing an old Krups machine that is probably about 15 years old and has been brilliant. No EU regulations so it stays hot all the time! But it was showing its age. The new machine doesn't make the coffee very hot and you had to put it in the microwave.
