STAR WARS The Black Series Princess Leia Organa, A New Hope Collectible 6 Inch Action Figure

Black Series Leia ANH (2025) is unbelievable, not only is the likeness utterly striking, but the designers finally got an action figure to work with the flowing, draping costume without using cloth goods, even with the hood-up look. This is a triumphant achievement for Hasbro Star Wars. It does reuse the 2016 version's legs, but that is barely noticeable. The only reason to buy another ANH Leia at this point is if Hasbro made a second facial expression because this sculpt and paint nailed it. Leia is all new except the aforementioned legs, which are unpainted this time. She comes with her hunting blaster, her stormtrooper blaster, and her swap-out hood. The head comes off at the top of the neck, the hood slides off after that, there's a small slot in the back of the neck to keep the hood piece from creeping up. Putting on the hood-up piece means inserting the head in before popping it on the neck, but it's easier than it sounds. Her belt is part of the skirt and is accurately painted a different white with silver panels all the way around. She has a dumbbell-jointed neck at the top and ball at the bottom; butterfly shoulders under the torso overlay; single-hinge elbows that go past 90 degrees. The forearms are inserted into the flowing sleeve giving a more realistic look while maintaining range of motion for the wrists - right is hinged up-down, left is in-out for the stormtrooper blaster cradle poses. Waist is ball-jointed and flows over the belt for more accuracy,. Skirt is split for range and cleverly overlaps slightly so it doesn't look bad like most split skirts. Legs underneath are ball hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, and rocker ankles on a hinge, no boot rotation.

It came to me perfect I know my younger brother is going to love it.

Great Princess Leia figure. The face sculpt is great. The articulation is great. The skirt makes some posing a bit difficult. I have every Leia figure I can find, and this is one of my favorites. Great for any Leia fan or Star Wars collector.

Looks like they finally got the face right! This is by far the best Leia in the Black Series line. To get better you probably need to get the far more expensive S. H. Figuarts figure which is usually around $70-$100. It is very light on accessories with just the gun and the hood. That being said, it's a great likeness of the gun Leia uses in the beginning of A New Hope. She actually looks fantastic next to my New Hope Figuarts Han Solo and Luke on my shelf. To sum up in 2025, this is the best sub $50 Leia on the market in my opinion.

Although the plastic skirt limits some of her articulation the new face is great and worth the upgrade. Her feet are on the smaller side but her skirt helps her stay up thankfully. Her size/height is perfect when next to the rest of the cast. Definitely recommend over the older ones.

Great Star Wars Black Series figure. Very lifelike and well sculpted. Comes with an exchangeable hood but you’ll have to pop the head off first.

Great figure, headsculpt looks really good. Compared to the older princess Leia figure this is a major improvement, glad I sold the old one (Archive version) and replaced it by this new version

I like the plastic cape and robe, which is a great upgrade from the previous cloth material in the figure. The face sculpt on this one is fantastic, especially at such a low price point. Probably the bigger gun could be swapped out for something that's easier to hold for Leia but overall a solid figure at an affordable price that deserves more accolades.
