Well Made Chair
I selected this chair for it's weight capability and lack of fake leather. It appears to be well designed. The mechanism and wheel assembly is heavy steel. The seat bottom, seat back and head rest are plastic but are substantial. I expect it to hold up well. Assembly was not difficult, the hardware was packaged and clearly labeled. The surprise was how uncomfortable the chair is. The seat has an open mesh stretched over it, and it is very rigid. It doesn't give at all. The other issue is the recline resistance cannot be adjusted to allow a six foot person to recline. I am constantly concerned that I am about to topple over backwards. Update: I was able to increase the tension in the seat back. The tension adjustment knob was stiff, but after turning it quite a bit, enough tension was dialed in so that I can sit comfortably. Increased rating to four stars The seller contacted me and helped with the two issues I had with the chair. I now have a comfortable, well made office chair. I appreciate their efforts to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. I would buy from them again.

Comfortable and Stylish Chair with Just a Minor Assembly Issue
Overall, this is a great chair, and I’m really happy with my purchase. The assembly process wasn’t too difficult, though I did encounter a bit of trouble when it came to attaching the headrest. It may have been something I was doing wrong, but that part of the assembly felt trickier than it needed to be. I think it could be designed in a way that makes attaching the headrest a bit easier. Aside from that, the rest of the assembly went smoothly and didn’t take too much time. In terms of comfort, the chair definitely meets my expectations. The seat is comfortable, and the support it provides is just right for long hours at the desk. This is my first time using a mesh chair, and I have to say, I’m impressed with how well it breathes. The mesh design keeps me cool and comfortable throughout the day, even during extended use. It’s a significant upgrade from the traditional padded chairs I’ve used in the past. The lumbar support is also a nice touch, and it helps me maintain good posture, which is important for me since I spend a lot of time working at my desk. The chair also looks great! The modern, sleek design fits well with my home office setup, and I love how it adds a touch of sophistication to the space. It’s not just functional but also stylish, which is a bonus. The neutral color and clean lines make it versatile, so it can fit into a variety of different spaces, whether at home or in a professional office setting. While I’m optimistic about the durability of the chair, especially with the mesh construction, only time will tell how long it lasts. I’m hopeful that it will hold up well over time, but as this is my first mesh chair, I’ll be keeping an eye on how it performs with daily use. So far, everything feels sturdy and well-built, and I don’t foresee any issues, but it’s always something to consider with a new type of chair. All in all, I’m really pleased with this chair. It’s comfortable, stylish, and relatively easy to assemble, with just a minor hiccup when it came to the headrest. If you’re in the market for a mesh office chair that offers good comfort and looks sharp, I would definitely recommend this one. It’s been a great addition to my workspace, and I’m looking forward to using it for years to come.

Worth the money feature full quality chair. All day comfort!
Better than any gaming chair you could buy for this price! Quality materials, breathable mesh seat back lumbar and headrest. Perfect height, arm rests are very good and adjustable. Firm mesh making a great cushioned feeling. Can sit in this for hours no discomfort. Leans back to two different settings that can be locked in from the lever on the bottom right that also adjusts height. Definitely worth the money

Overall great chair
Overall , this chair is super comfortable. If you’re a wide-booty person, you may not like it. I’m built big, but not wide, so the seat JUST fits. The seat doesn’t rock, which is usually an issue for me, but the way the back can recline without having to lock/unlock with every movement is acceptable. The comfort adjustability is like no other chair I’ve owned. The headrest has a few adjustment capabilities, the lumbar support can go up/down, even the armrests have height adjustment, and slide forward and backward (slightly). The pads themselves have a small rotational adjustment, though I’m not sure why. My only concern is that the seat is also mesh netting, which makes me wonder if it will sag over time making the seat less comfortable. Also one of the armrest’s height adjustment won’t lock so I will have to request a replacement part. I’ve only had it a few days, so I’ll update if my opinion sways. I think the price point is fair based on my first impressions. Maybe a little on the high side, but reviews on cheaper, similar chairs were horrible. I needed one with more than a 250 lb weight limit.

Kudos to the engineer!!
If the chair is as good as the packaging and instructions, I'm looking forward to long comfortable use. What first impressed me was the packaging, as you can see by the first image, components are inside Mylar covered foam envelopes for protection. I was looking for well ventilated seat which this is for sure! As you can see by the other photos, it is a mesh without cushion material which conforms to ones tush and complete airflow. Although I'm nowhere near 400 lbs., the capacity is great considering the seat material is 100% "poly" mesh. Definitely stylish and the sturdy! Lumbar support is a must and this chair has one the feels really good against the lower back. Even when reclining the chair is not flimsy. Remember to adjust the tension of the backrest (knob under the seat). Assembly was easy and the instructions are VERY clear and complete, hence the kudos to the engineer. Let alone an extra of each fastener. It comes with Allen wrenches and a mechanical one makes it easier. Be sure to not over torque the fastener. Today (11.22.2025) is the first day of use and I'm quite happy with the purchase!

It’s not a Herman Miller, but extremely comfortable and as functional as my old aeron
I am super impressed! This chair is replacing a Herman Miller aeron that was going to be too costly to repair. Great chair, but the Capot is much less expensive, extremely sturdy and very comfortable. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the aeron, but it does have the important ones. I’m surprised, but the lumbar support actually feels much better on this chair than on my prior chair. All of the pieces came wrapped in a protective bubble foam with label stickers on the outside. For the price, this is an outstanding chair! I bought the extended warranty, but when I was putting it together, I can see that all the pieces are solid and fit together very well and I can’t see anything that might be weak or that would be likely to break. I am super impressed and very happy and I will update the review if anything changes.

Comfortable but features are somewhat deceiving
The chair was easy to put together and is comfortable, but I made assumptions about features of the chair from visual queues in the pictures that just weren't there. As circled in my attached picture, I assumed that the lever and the base were to raise and lower the height. I was sadly mistaken. The lever is for the tilt only, and there is just one height for this chair, absolutely no variable height. So if height adjustment is important to you, don't get this chair. It's otherwise comfortable and will work for what I need it to do, but I wish I could change the height.

Not a great seat, but the back support is good and the build quality seems quite good honestly.
Disclaimer - this is an initial review - only had this chair a few days Size: 6'4" ~280lbs The good: the materials and build quality overall is pretty good, not sure what more you could want for a <$500 chair. The only thing that worries me is how long the mesh will last. I'd be happy with 3 years to be honest for the price ($180 at time of purchase). The lumbar/cervical neck support is very good. This is pretty much why I bought it. It will help me force myself into a good posture since my neck is such a mess, both lumbar and cervical. The head rest is actually quite good. It could be slightly stiffer to stay in place maybe, but it's pretty nice. The smell - call me weird but the smell of new plastic in a room for a day or two is a pro not a con for me. It honestly looks pretty nice, not a huge plus for me but it does look sleek. The bad: The reviews saying the seat is uncomfortable are right....at least so far as it is a very narrow seat. If it was ~3-4 inches wider, it would be a 10/10 chair for me at least on initial use. The edges are a bit harsh on your hips if you are north of a 38" pants size. If you're sitting pretty straight, not really a problem. The mesh feels fine, it's not as good as a cushion but the tradeoff of breathability is worth it I would say. What I did right off the bat to help with comfort a bit was get some pipe insulation foam I had laying around in the garage, cut it in half, and lined the front half of the seat underneath with it. Just kinda stuffed it in there up against the edges as much as I could. Does it help? Actually....kinda, ya. I'd say it makes it a good 15-20% more comfortable at the edges. Picture attached (you can kinda see through and see what I did). Edit: I used the other half of the foam for the back half. So I completely lined the edge underneath with pipe insulation. It does actually help. I also figure this will keep the edges of the mesh from fatiguing as quick since it shouldn't pull down on it as harshly over time. The casters it comes with are pretty bad. If you buy a chair for <$500 though, you should be buying a ~$15-20 set of roller blade casters to swap in. I ran the stock casters for a day as the roller blade ones I got here on Amazon for $16 didn't come until the next day. The stock ones work, but they're quite slow. In my opinion, any reviews saying that the caster input area welds failing were partly due to the stock casters being slow in the first place. This makes you need to push more, and puts more pressure on these spots - making it more prone to failure. The welds to me don't look bad to be honest, and it doesn't worry me - if they failed I'd just reweld them myself. The arm rests are way too adjustable. They are honestly not bad, but they don't need any more adjustment than literally just going up and down. THIS WAS THE #1 REASON FOR NARROWING MY SEARCH DOWN TO THIS CHAIR - for playing guitar flip-up armrests are a must for me, which narrows down the search dramatically, as anyone reading this knows. But the arm rests aren't bad. Conclusion: As a big guy, this is a good chair that will help with posture. The seat is too narrow if you are size 38 or greater pants - it's undeniable. Hopefully the mesh holds up - if that is the case I'll be plenty happy for the price. If this chair gets a better version in the future with literally just a wider seat, I will absolutely buy it when this thing is worn out in (hopefully) like 3 years. NOTE: THE TOP LUMBAR SETTING ISN’T A SETTING IT IS THE RESET. So many people in reviews, including myself thought the lumbar didn’t stay set - it does, just the top most spot is NOT a setting it is meant to unlock it and reset to the bottom.
