I purchased these based on the product description and reviews to be able to handle my cat when he is in a playful mood as he tends to get aggressive suddenly leaving me with scratches that can get infected. The gloves claim to be made of kevlar, yet they offer no more protection than wooly socks. Within 10 seconds my cat delivered 3 scratches and a bite through the gloves that hurt and drew blood. He cannot get through my Mechanix gloves, but those don't protect my forearms. I guess I need heavy falconry leather gloves.

Didn't work as expected. I purchased to deal with cat scratches and these sleeves offered no protection.

False, it doesn’t protect you from scratches. These are just some long cloth gloves. My cat scratched the heck out of me while wearing these gloves.

I have 3 hairless cats that need regular baths. None of them like baths! In fact, they absolutely hate baths! The next best thing to a suit of protective armor is this pair of gloves.

Cat teeth went right through these. Not recommended
