While it’s not a major issue, it can be a bit of a hassle if you are using this in a situation where the inside can get wet, or messy with food stuff, etc. It would be much more practical if the battery compartment were designed for easy access from the outside. Despite the minor inconvenience with the battery compartment, I still highly recommend this automatic garbage can. It has made my life easier and added a touch of modernity to my bathroom life.
