**Q: does it smell like chemicals?**
A: The Scruff-A-Luvs do have a PVA like substance to give them their scruffy look but should not smell like chemicals.

**Q: Has anyone noticed any tips in the serial numbers for which ones are dogs/cats/bunnies 😬**
A: I am not sure. But I have two on hand and the blue dogs code is 6 30996 3002 2, and the pink cat is 6 30996 30001 5. I don’t know if that helps. But those are just the two I got for my girls. Which is exactly what they wanted. You can open them and tell by the ears which is which.
