I purchased this on a whim, and I'm just about to purchase it for a second time because I am obsessed with the way it scents the whole room. I laundered all of the bedding in my guest room with it - sheets, duvet cover, mattress pad - and generally keep the door to that room closed. Any time anyone opens that door, they are greeted with a beautifully, calming scent. Our son was the most recent person to go into that room and his response was, "This room smells so good!" The scent is light, but it lasts a long time. I wash my sheets with it, and get hints of the scent every night when I turn down the covers. It starts the whole sleep process on a lovely note. It's not the usual room-type scent, but more of a curated blend that no one can quite pinpoint, except to say that it smells heavenly. I also use The Laundress White Detergent, which does an amazing job on white clothes and towels, as well as the little stain removing brush. I love them all. I will be trying the other scents in the collection as well

This is my second time purchasing Beauty Sleep; this time I added the spray to my order. Use for sheets and blankets and it makes my bedroom smell so good and clean. Fragrance isn’t the unnatural kind that gives a headache, rather is a wonderful grounded luxurious subtle, but noticeable, fragrance. Lends to a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. The fragrance lasts till the next wash. So good the babysitter and housekeeper asked me what makes my room smell so good…they are now customers!

Smells great. For those liking a good smell that isn’t too overpowering I think you would be pleased. I personally like a very bold, strong , long lasting heavenly smell. Especially on bedding and certain things like couch pillow covers.. everyone had to say something, when my go to was Downey Sun blossom Softber rinse combined with this certain Unstoppables with pink beads.. the combo of those 2 was pure heaven and I would have gone the remainder of my life never feeling the need to change. However first the Sun blossom became impossible to find, I bought the last case , then I was able to se ure one seller in Amazon who was price gauging like nobody’s business, but my love for the particular unstoppables fragrance was too tempting for me to fight it. I was still purchasing it until about 6 months ago when her supply must have dried up or they were caught bootlegging it because the last few bottles were questionable as far as authenticity . Now that my dream combo is gone forever.. why companies discontinue without warning nearly everything I’ve grown to love and do not want to live without, I will never know. Anytime I look up the discontinued items there are thousands of upset customers so mad their signature laundry scent is gone, I’m always reminded my taste is also the taste of many others.. as zi said everyone who smelled any of my laundry had to ask what I used.. :( I hoped this might replace 1/2 of the combo, but it is too lightly fragranced for me.. I need Bood, heavenly, strong, long lasting asking myself daily, what magic are you using on your laundry?? I hang everything dry.. when I would hang Wet sheets on racks as it was drying that gorgeous scent would permeate in my yard, then when I brought them in to fold, they made the entire house smell like a beautiful garden of the most fragrant flowers .. pure bliss. I’m back to finding the best copy, or getting in the phone with Makers of Downey and having a come to Jesus eating , I will send ahead a lengthy petition asking them to release our favorite scents back into everyday avail. They have many not so great smelling ones still on the market.. one question?? WHY?

The smell is wonderful. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that it fades SO quickly. I washed a load of sheets and it smelled heavenly. When I took them out of the dryer, you could barely detect the scent any longer. That's disappointing. While I love the smell, it's too pricey considering it doesn't last.

I didn’t expect a laundry detergent to help me sleep better — but this one actually does. I have been using The Laundress Isle detergent and fabric conditioner since May 2025, after switching from Amway, mainly because I fell in love with the fragrance. Scent preferences are personal, but I discovered that the right laundry scent can actually feel calming. This month, I tried The Laundress Beauty Sleep Luxury Laundry Detergent for the first time. As shown in my photo, the bottle is smaller than the Isle detergent, and the price per bottle is higher. However, the performance surprised me. The laundry comes out noticeably soft, and I no longer feel the need to add fabric conditioner. What impressed me most was the fragrance. The blend of sandalwood, jasmine, and lavender creates a warm, relaxing scent that lingers lightly on bedding and sleepwear without being overwhelming. After washing my sheets and pajamas with this detergent, the scent creates a calm atmosphere at night. For me, the product name “Beauty Sleep” actually feels accurate because the fragrance makes my bedroom feel more relaxing. If you enjoy lightly scented laundry products and want something that feels a bit more luxurious, this detergent is definitely worth trying. The Beauty Sleep bottle is smaller but produces very soft laundry without needing fabric conditioner.

WHY am I just now hearing about this!?!? This smells so heavenly and luxurious! The smell is strong but not overwhelming, which is lovely, bottle size is decent, cleans well, treated a mild stain, I didn’t think I’d be this happy about laundry soap but here I am, wishing it was a bigger bottle! A little does go a long way, which makes it worth it! I had to get the spray in this scent-how good it is!

This was a disappointment. I specifically bought it for the, “long lasts by fragrance.” I used actually a tiny bit more than recommended and there was the faintest scent when I took the items from the dryer. It’s a lovely scent but hardly one that’s intense or long lasting. At theses prices, it should leave a lasting impression.

Obsessed with this. The scent stays on clothes longer than Tide or Gain and it smells absolutely divine. It’s so calming and feels really luxurious. Cleans well, great for sheets and towels.
