I then bought a separate signal generator which at least showed a trace, however, I need to measure DC Offset but it seems to filter it out so it is no good for that. The meter is pretty good with a good level of accuracy. All in all I have bought an expensive meter and wasted a few days of effort. UPDATE. Since placing the review the seller has responded identifying where the product does not support certain functions.
