Holiday/travel essential for the coffee enthusiast
Brilliant piece of kit. Had it for over two years now and it goes on holiday with us every time. No power required just a hand workout to produce a perfect expresso. Well worth the money. Takes up hardly any space. You can use capsules (with the optional attachment or ground coffee with the standard attachment. I use a battery frother to make a perfect latte.

Essential upgrade ... but at the end of the day, is it practical?
Purchased as an accessory. Here's my view of this in combination with the main unit. The coffee produced by this device is great. When in the back of beyond, if you buy the barista kit too, you will get a crema on a great tasting espresso if you: a) use fresh beans (roasted between 7 and 21 days is perfect); b) pre-warm the machine; c) grind the beans just before use (beans degrade after about 5 minutes after grinding) d) and get the grind size just right (too fine and the effort is ridiculous - too course and you get nothing). When you get this just right, there will be subtle nuanced tastes to discover, and it's not far off a barista pulled shot from a £20,000 machine in a West End coffee house - especially appreciated when in the back of beyond. That's the positive side. Now to the negatives. The kit list you actually need to carry around is extensive. To make this work at the optimum level you need to carry a) a portable grinder; b) a litre+ bottle of water (2l is good for the day for 2 of you and don't forget you need water to warm the unit plus water for your coffee and water for washing up); c) a jet boil or other portable stove; d) a refrigerated flask of milk/cream according to taste; e) a tea towel for drying; f) the barista kit to get the dose size up to scratch. To make two coffees; allow up to an hour to an hour for full setup, drink, clean up and pack away. It's also surprisingly hard work to squeeze out the espresso - nigh on impossible if your grind is too fine. I can't see away around carrying all of this without accepting compromise on taste or drink format. Finally, it's all a bit messy and you wouldn't want to do it at your desk in the office (grinds and drips of coffee end up everywhere); and you really want a kitchen sink handy to wash/dry everything afterwards. I had a lot of fun in experimenting to get this right. I'd hoped for a desktop solution to mediocre coffee in the office. I am not sure this works due to the cleaning and maintenance. The barista kit should come with a case for the resized machine in my opinion. This is probably going to end up at the back of the cupboard.

Excellent coffee; good for one or two people.
Makes a lovely double expresso! Better than our Nespresso capsule coffee maker and also one with a plunger. Takes a few minutes longer than the other two but well worth it. The down side is that it does coffees one at a time with opening and emptying in between so not really practical for a dinner party; however, excellent for one or two people, and good on holiday. I imagine also good for hikers and campers providing you have a way of heating water. The instructions advise that you warm the coffee maker before using, but I don't think this is really necessary. Just warm the cup. When you make the double coffee, you will need both hands and a fair bit of energy to pump it, especially if you use Nespresso type capsules. One last point. When you have filled the double expresso tank it is important to hold it still on a horizontal surface to screw the body of the machine onto it. If you don't, I can tell you from experience that very hot water will escape onto your hands! I have enjoyed using this machine and would thoroughly recommend it. Price is reasonable for the quality of coffee, and the engineering that went into its manufacture.

Bigger coffees at a price
Essential if you want a larger coffee. However, it would be nice if it was possible to buy this as part of the original pump set. It's a lot of money for a bigger water tank, a couple of larger coffee baskets and the metal ring that makes the pump outlet deeper. Also would be a nice option to have a different colour, being as it's only £15 less than the pump.

Lids don't fit
The lids for the filter baskets don't fit tightly which can make using it for travel risky and messy! I would have returned if had noticed before using. Check before you use. Update: although customer service was very good and quickly sent replacement filter baskets with lids from China the new lids DO NOT FIT the baskets sent either. The lids for the single shot baskets but not the double shot baskets. They sit loosely on top instead of fitting on snugly. This makes it a very expensive piece of kit which is not much use for travelling as risks a lot of spillage. I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned this issue. This must be a factory issue.

Makes good coffee
Easy to use with a bit of practice,so far I have only used it at home for making latte which tastes very good.I bought the nanopresso so I could make a good coffee while I am out on my bicycle in the summer .It is very light and compact so will be easy to store in my backpack along with a flask of hot water. The nanopresso seems to be very well made and should last a long time with the right care

One of the best on the market!
I wanted a manual espresso machine, but the only one I could find that would make a true espresso was several £100’s. I bought this thinking it was going to be a bit of a gimmick … how wrong was I!! Excellent quality espresso, easy to use, easy to clean! I have used mine almost every day for the past 2 years! Well over a 1000 espressos made with my minipresso, and it’s still working very well. I believe the best addition to the standard is the barista kit (double espresso kit!) and I have a manual coffee grinder. I have used the Nespresso pod attachment but this doesn’t work well, the pods are too tightly packed and therefore the minipresso cannot push the water through, and the pressure is released through the pressure relief valve, which then becomes messy and no coffee. Awesome machine! Favourite gadget of 2020!!

Great kit for when you want to make a double espresso, and the extra baskets are handy and the tamper is perfect

Aldığım nanopresso’nun kahve miktarını artırmak için bu ürünü de almıştım. İçinde yedek kahve hazneleri de var. Gayet kullanışlı bir ürün. Teşekkürler.

We always take our Nanopresso with us on trips and holidays. It makes a great espresso for such a tiny package. The downside was that it could only deliver a single shot of espresso at a time. You then had to clean the basket, dry the whole thing, refill and tamp the basket, reboil the water, etc. By the time the second shot was done, the first one had gone totally cold. The Barista Kit solves the "coffee for one" limitation by providing two double-shot baskets, 1 additional single-shot basket, an extension ring to make room for the double-shot basket, and a larger water container. The result is that I can now fill and tamp two baskets. I fill the water container with enough water for two coffees, press the first, replace the basket and press the second. We now have two freshly made espressos (single or double shots depending on the time of day) both nice and hot. Perfect for a globe-trotting couple like us.
