I bought this cleaner so I could clean my sofa, when I received this item I was very impressed, in all honesty I had a different one in my cart and my husband talked me out of it and said to keep looking and I stumbled upon the shark. I love shark products, I have their vacuum and I even had a steam mop. So I didn't really look too hard at it other than it was small, portable and seemed to have good reviews. Good enough for me. So when I opened the box I was very impressed with how nice this cleaner is. And how easy and I mean easy it is to clean every compartment and attachments it comes with. I'd had been using a family members carpet cleaner vacuum for a few years and you could not get the dirty water container clean or the head attachment. However this shark does! It has a spot cleaner to stick the attachment heads on to clean them with separate cleaner. There are three different water compartments. One for dirty water which comes apart very easy and you can clean it all. Then two separate water containers for two different solutions. It's light weight it's not as loud as a stand up carpet cleaner vacuum which is nice. I have a home with multiple pets, two small children and a mechanic for a husband. My sofa gets a funk to it often. And this cleaner even got the husband dirt out of the arm rest and it actually smells clean! I am so happy with my cleaner and the solutions for it are decently priced you can get a two pack box of the solutions you need for $12 from Walmart for convenience. Overall recommend.

I have a household of 2 dogs and 4 cats. I am constantly battling animal issues. This compact cleaner has been wonderful so far! I used it immediately. It is light weight and simple to run. The spots that I treated, came clean completely. They were urine spots(dried) and cat vomit spots(fresh). I can avoid getting my large carpet steamer out for every clean up issue. The directions are clear. The tanks are small and easy to fill and clean. So far, I have not had issues with hair clogging the hose or anything. I will update if I notice a problem, but at this time I am extremely happy

I honestly can’t say anything negative about this product. The Shark StainStriker HairPro is absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Only room in house with carpet is closet so needed something small to clean a mess my dog made. This little machine is easy to use and has great suction. Area dried quick. Picture shows an area I started that had dried pee I didn't know was there. So picture shows the spot cleaned and no stain. Of course will have to do whole closet due to dirt, but it cleaned awesome. I haven't tried all the other tools with it yet, but so far it cleans great. Highly recommend for pet owners to clean spot messes.

For many years I’ve always had the little green machine—pet parents, you know the one I’m talking about. For ages the little green machine was the only thing in existence, I had no other option. I’ve been through a couple little green machines because they get nasty and smelly. They can’t be cleaned due to all the nooks and crannies along with limited accessibility. They are heavy and cumbersome. So when the time came to get another cleaner, I decided to look around and see if something better was available. After much consideration, I went with the Shark Stain Striker HairPro Pet, and the main reason was because the entire thing comes apart and can be cleaned out. I’ve had it for almost a year and so far it’s been great. I wasn’t sure at first about using the yellow rubber nubby textured cleaning head as opposed to a scrubbing brush head, but it actually works so much better than a brush head and it rinses off so easily! Brushes allow hair to become entangled in the bristles and is a pain to clean. So now I’m a fan of the rubber cleaning heads. I love that the entire sprayer head comes apart and I can just rinse it all out, especially the clear window where I can see the cleaning solution getting sucked up. In my little green machine, that window is all clogged with hair and it can’t be cleaned out because it doesn’t come apart. The Shark dirty water tank removes super easy and is so easy to rinse out and there’s no nooks and crannies. The hair catch trap works amazingly well and allows me to throw the hair away instead of it all going down the drain. The solution tank is also easy to fill. I like the compact size, which is easier for me to carry and not as heavy as my former cleaning machine. It does a fantastic job of cleaning. I’ve had to clean up thrown up cat food(both wet and dry) muddy prints, and a huge amount of mustard that was spilled on the carpet, which is white unfortunately(not my choosing, it was there when we bought the house and someday will be replaced with more practical flooring 😊). Overall, this is a well made machine and cleaning up pet messes is a lot easier. WHAT I DON’T LIKE ::: There are some things about Shark Stain Striker that could be improved. The electrical cord REALLY needs to be LONGER! Some messes aren’t conveniently located within reach of an electrical outlet. The hose needs to be removable for cleaning. Even with using the “self cleaning” function, I can still see some bits of hair and debris in the hose, which probably is hung up on the ridges of the hose. I’m concerned that over time the hose might get nasty and grow mildew because it can’t be cleaned as effectively. The instructions have contradictory information that needs cleared up. The solution tank says to NEVER use hot water. The instruction manual says to “never use very hot water, even from the faucet. Never use boiling water. Never use microwaved water. Warm water is okay.” The solution bottle says to USE HOT WATER. Shark is not clear on what water temperature I should be using. Shark also says to only use Shark Deep Clean Pet solution, but then they also say to use ONLY Shark branded solutions (plural). They make it sound like I can only use the Deep Clean Pet solution and they also seem to say any solution is fine as long as it is Shark Branded. I DO NOT LIKE the Deep Clean Pet solution because it smells strongly like BEER. I don’t want my carpets smelling like beer. So now I’ve been using Shark Deep Clean Pro solution, which should still be OK to use because it’s Shark brand, and they even have a picture of a cat and dog on the bottle, so that implies it cleans up pet messes as well. It definitely smells better than the Deep Clean Pet solution.

This product comes with an American/Canadian plug attached.....annoying as there is nothing in the blurb which states this. I have now had to purchase a converter and wait another week, for another delivery. Please can sellers give buyers important info like this up front where it can easily be seen.

Très beau produit bien emballé mais que je n'ai pas pu utiliser car l'embout de prise est américain et donc incompatible... Pas mentionné dans la description. En attendant je ne met qu'une étoile pour l'emballage

Worth it!!! This little one deliver what promisse, remove pet hair, pet mess, dirt, stain and replaces all with a very pleasant smell. I have the sensation that my money was well invested!!!
