Why does the description say waterproof to 100m, when on the watch face it clearly says 50m

Go by what’s on the watch rather than in the text. It says water resistant not waterproof. I have had several of these and they are great but battery life seems more like 4 years. I do use the light a lot though when sailing and hiking etc. I have swam in the sea with it, been out in all weathers and don’t take it off to wash my hands or do the washing up. Never had an issue with it. It not a diving watch! 50m is a long way down. The most I’ve paid was about £40 which is great value. Not so sure about the current price over £70. Easy to get replacement straps which do seem to go regularly after a couple of years or so.

Hi - just bought one - how do you change the date? Do you have to just wind the time round past midnight to move it?

HiIf you pull the winder fully out and turn it will wind the hands, if you then push it back half way in and then turn it, it will advance the date. It takes a bit of "jiggling" to get the winder in the correct half way position.Kind regards
