I like that this baking mat is well constructed with thicker silicone around the edge to keep this mat in place when in use. I really appreciate that the mat is marked with all of the measurements that you may need to make your favorite pastry or bread. I found using this mat helpful and included is a stiff dough cutter that does a nice job of slicing through the dough that I have worked with weekly. This mat is a perfect size of twenty four inches by sixteen inches. The measurement makings give you a visual to see to make your favorite pastry, pizza, or bread. Clean up is as simple as moving the mat to your sink and rinse it with warm water. This is a kitchen tool that is helpful. Fun find.

This seems to serve a double purpose: helping to keep the mat flat and steady, as well as making a border that keeps ingredients from sliding off as easily.I had ordered this to use for sizing in photographs, thinking I have enough of these mats for baking. But, now, I’m considering keeping this one or ordering a second for baking: I don’t have any nonstick baking or pastry mats this large, of this quality, or with the sizing so clearly legible to work with.It’s a nice mat and the price ($12.99 at time of review) actually seems like a great deal given the size and quality. The lip around the edge is helpful keeping the mess in place. However, the silicone is so thin, feels a little like thin pizza dough, that it is challenging to pick up to dump mess in the trash. It is a little hard to get it to lay flat. Once you get it flat, it stays in place pretty well, but because it is so sticky, it is a little like placing vinyl without bubbles. It is easy to wash. Great size folds up nicely for storage. I can roll it and fold it in half

I recently tried making donuts, working the dough on a well-floured quartz surface. The dough kept sticking no matter what I tried, and it made the whole experience awful. I bought this pastry mat, and it made my next foray into donut making so much easier. The dough sticks a little bit, but it easily pulls from this mat. The cutter was an added bonus as I didn't have one before. Definitely recommend this!

I have been getting back into bread baking, gluten free of course.Next up: High Protein Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread, which is in the oven as I write this review.This would require flattening out the mixed and risen in the bread machine dough. I found this lovely mat with an accompanying dough slicer. The recipe directed me to spread a layer of brown sugar, cinnamon powder to taste and a cup of raisin, then roll that up.The flexibility of the silicone mat helped me start the rolling process. The dough slicer helped me to loosen the sticky dough and plop it into the baking pan. Whew!I’m very happy!😆

This silicone baking mat is just what I needed for when I make my homemade sugar cookies and pies. The baking mat I have used for years is so hard to keep in place when rolling out my dough, but this one doesn't move. It came folded in a cute little box, but the creases seemed to smooth out and are hardly noticeable. The edges are marked in centimeters (not inches) and the largest circle in the middle is about 10 inches, but the circle measurements are not given. I use the largest circle to help when baking pies, but I have to be sure I roll the dough out larger than the circle. Love the raised edge for containing the flour for rolling, definitely helps with the cleanup. The pink dough scraper is nice to use with the mat instead of a metal utensil to prevent damaging the mat. Glad I picked up this baking mat!

This baking mat is awesome. I love that in includes the ruler but I do with the circles in the center were more useful and identified the dimensions of each circle. The silicon mat is a good size and works well, with the appropriate amount of flour, your dough doesn’t stick. The dough cutter is plastic and is just okay.

This dough mat is very useful - it has guides that help measure/shape your dough all while helping keep your counters clean at the same time! The mat does not slip and stays in place even while you are rolling dough and moving things around. The raised edges help to contain any liquids or messes from spilling off the mat. The mat has circles in the middle to help guide you while shaping dough, as well as rulers along the side to help you measure. The mat is easy to clean either by hand in the sink or in the dishwasher. The mat rolls or folds up easily for storage while not in use.
