A quick overview of Bitcoin although it reads like a bit of a salespitch

I will come back to this book again. I ordered the hardcopy and decided not to wait until January to read it. So I bought the Kindle book and tore through it in record time. It’s very accessible, and when it comes to financial information such as this, as a neophyte in these areas I needed it to be so. I got this book because it just didn’t make any sense to me what a digital currency was. But after the authors step-by-step review of the history of money, it’s beginning to become clear to me. I appreciate having physical books, so I will not cancel the hardbound copy I have on order. Good books are worth having in both digital and hardcopy form in my opinion. If you feel clueless on all things bitcoin, welcome to the club, and this book is very much worth your time.

An easily read story of how multiple Wall Street folks (Including Anthony S. Himself) come to understand and believe in Bitcoin. Not a technical read, but a story. And a brief good one at that. Good if you are looking to understand why people buy bitcoin If you are looking for more technical reads I recommend ‘the Bitcoin standard’ or ‘thank God for Bitcoin’.

Nothing to see here, just The Mooch riding a trend to make a few bucks.

I had so little understanding of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin that I avoided putting any money in it, Anthony's book opened the door, explaining what it is, how it works, and articulated a good rationale for considering it as the wave of the future. I have some more research to do..but I likely will invest a little in it. I listen to Anthony's podcasts often. He's a very decent, grounded, bright guy.

Good starting book to learn about Bitcoin

The “Mooch’s” short treatise on Bitcoin. Very readable and practical at the same time. Highly recommended as a well-thought out, readable entree to cryptocurrency.

A clear and concise overview and background to this subject. A particular strength is the author's insights into how the financial industry is coming around to it. For me, it was a worthwhile purchase and read
