I was concerned when I saw the packaging. It was closed. I cut the slit in the tape. The box was pretty banged up though. When I looked inside, I saw how thick the metal is. This thing could probably hold up a car and not budge. Extremely well built. Don't hesitate. It is awesome. I haven't tried the hydraulics yet but I will soon. If I don't come back complaining, it did not disappoint.

MEASURING AND LITERACY ARE IMPORTANT TOOLS
10/10 This is outstanding for the price. The lift is heavy duty and closes softly. It fits my kitchen aid no problem. I have a 15” cabinet with a drawer and with a bit of critical thinking and a few motherf*** it is in with ease…2 hours later. I do have an upper hand with an engineering degree but if you can build a dresser by yourself, I have confidence you could install this. Instructions were abundantly clear and, if you can read, you should not struggle. I knew that I would have to fidget it a bit since I have a drawer. You absolutely cannot go with a smaller cabinet size, 15” wide JUST fits it. If you have a larger body frame there is going to be some difficulty crawling into the cabinet to screw the back in. Be aware you will have to add extra wood supports, I have a woodshop if you do not, ask the workers at Lowe’s or Home Depot to custom cut you a piece atleast 4” tall , width and depth will depend on your cabinet. Overall, I’m glad I didn’t spend $250 for the namebrand one, I can’t imagine the price difference is justifiable with how nice this one is. I did extensive research on other similar priced ones and this listing had the specs I was looking for. Glad I went with it. Reviews for other brands described how difficult it was to install or outright didn’t work. This one WILL work if you know how to use common sense and can adapt the installation to your needs

These brackets make it easy to access & store heavy kitchen appliances, saving space & your back.
Say goodbye to back strain and hello to effortless baking with these Life Finds Kitchen Appliance Lifting Brackets! I love my stand mixer, but lugging it out from the back of my lower cabinet was always a pain. These brackets have made it so much easier to access my mixer without straining my back. Installation was straightforward, and the brackets feel very sturdy. The spring-loaded lift mechanism works smoothly, and I appreciate that it has three different tension settings to accommodate appliances of varying weights. Now, I can effortlessly lift my mixer into position and get to baking without any hassle. Not only are these brackets functional, but they also help me maximize my limited counter space. When I'm not using my mixer, it's neatly tucked away in the cabinet, freeing up valuable countertop real estate. For the price, these lifting brackets are an absolute steal. They've made a huge difference in my kitchen, and I can't recommend them enough."

Not the miracle I'd hoped for
Less useful than I had hoped. I got it for my stand mixer but it isn't all that convenient to use. It just hovers in the air where it's pulled out. I felt very awkward using it so I uninstalled it and put shelves in that cabinet. Make sure your cabinet is a standard width. Nothing narrow. I think the instructions say you need at least 9 or 10 inches, but the hardware comes in about 2 inches on each side. I had 6 inches of usable shelf space to put my mixer on. The hardware is stiff and hard to pull out. I pinched or punched myself every time I used the darned thing

Horrible Product and Customer Service
I paid someone to install this product, which tooks WEEKS of him trying to figure out instructions, calling in for help, adjusting and readjusting it to get it to work right. Ultimately he was told to send it in because it was not working, still. When I attempted to send it in, asking how to do this, I got an auto reply that they would not honor the situation, the reference number, told to "sell a broken item to someone else". Then ghosted me. You've been warned.

Holds up the stand mixer
I was unsure about putting my beloved Kitchen Aid on this, but it is a really heavy duty lift mechanism. We tested it with other heavy things a few times before trusting the expensive stand mixer on it. It lifted it up pretty easily and then locked in place. My husband builds home for a living and has installed thousands of cabinets and such. So, when this arrived, he looked it over to see how it compared. He was satisfied. He installed it and said it was a straight forward installation. We used a scrap of laminated shelving left over after a project. We're debating using it to hold our blender, which does not get as much use as the mixer does. But, either way, it's a pretty solid set of brackets and have held up so far to about a dozen or so lifts. If it fails, I'll certainly return and report.

Nice set
This did exactly what I wanted it to. I had no issues with installing it, but I do recommend reading the instructions carefully. They work really well and they make storing the mixer easy.
