Sonic toothbrushes are the future. So very much better than regular electric brushes. The charge lasts much longer and it re charges much quicker. It brushes so well, and doesn’t fell like a road drill in your head. Brilliant, wish I had known about these from the start.

It’s one of the best toothbrushes I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly easy to operate with just two simple settings , clean and white. It makes daily brushing effortless and effective. The charging is excellent, lasting a long time without frequent recharging. I’m truly pleased with the results and can already see a noticeable improvement in the colour of my teeth.after every brush my mouth feels clean and refreshed. I’m very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it

Looks and feels nice. Cleans teeth better than the 10+ year old Sonicare I bought. Sale price of £65 is quite easy to swallow for a decent electric toothbrush. Review edited - it DOES work on the older charger from my prior Sonicare. It just took an hour+ to get off the flashing orange light and into the green bars showing it was charging. I still think a USB charger is daft. Not everyone has a 2 pin socket in their bathroom, but no one has a USB charger there. No one.

This is a very good toothbrush, a noticeable step up from my previous electric toothbrush, to the point that my dental hygienist now thinks he doesn't have to see me again for the next year or so. Minor downsides: it's a bit too easy to accidentally hit the power button. And integrating a chip in the toothbrush head to keep track of how long it has been used seems like a bit of overkill. Fortunately third party brush heads without that feature (plus a calendar reminder when to replace them) work just as well.

This sonic toothbrush is my favourite. I have the rotary electric one too but wasn’t happy with its cleaning power so I thought I’d try this one. It took me a fair few goes before I got used to it and now the rotary one is retired. This one cleans so well and it’s also easy to use. The battery lasts for ages. Mines been going for a good few weeks and is on one light now so I’ll charge it soon.

Excellent . Has a cheaper once and I was really impressed. Teeth so much whiter and feel better that a dentist's clean . (and far cheaper). This however is even better. Teeth feel even cleaner .. Durability seems to be an issue with other users , so will wait and see .

Very happy with this, replaced a previous on with a rubber on/off switch which just disintegrated over time. This one has a plastic switch made out of the same material as the rest of the body so hopefully will last longer. I like the style, find the shape of the heads easier to use than the more usual round electric brush style. Travel case is a nice addition and I have used it several times. Good battery life and the beeps to tell you when to move on to another section of teeth are useful. Got it on a reduced price week, I would not have paid the listed retail price which at the time was over £200…I like it but not that much! Also bear in mind that replacement heads are expensive and more difficult to source than the other big brand which you can purchase in the supermarket.

Charging stopped after 9 months. Lots of complicated online ways to get this fixed under guarantee. None work. Call requests don't come. Online replacement won't accept the serial number on the toothbrush. Phillips must know this & just expect to worm their way out of replacing their faulty products. Avoid!

Después de usarlos un tiempo, sigo muy contento con el funcionamiento. Avisa cuando tienes que cargar el cepillo, cuando tienes que cambiar el cabezal y los modos de limpieza se adaptan perfectamente a mis necesidades. El que tengan una funda de transporte es un extra que viene muy bien para llevar el cepillo y que el cabezal no se estropee en caso de que se le caiga el protector. La batería sigue durando tanto como cuando los compré.

J'utilise le Sonicare 4500 depuis 2 ans, et c'est une vraie révolution. Comme beaucoup de personnes après 40 ans, j'avais des problèmes de gencives et de dents. Cette technologie n'est PAS un gadget — elle vous permet un brossage véritablement optimal. Au bout de 7 jours, vous aurez l'impression de revenir d'un détartrage chez le dentiste... et ce sera le cas tous les jours désormais. Si on y réfléchit deux secondes : une brosse à dents qui vous évite ne serait-ce qu'un seul aller-retour chez le dentiste, c'est déjà rentabilisée. Concernant la 5500, que j'ai depuis 2 jours : c'est une belle évolution, environ 20% plus efficace que la 4500 selon moi. Elle est nettement plus douce — à tel point que le premier jour, je pensais qu'elle était défectueuse. Mais c'est précisément ce changement qui fait la différence : je n'appuie plus sur mes dents, et je sens pourtant que ça détartre encore mieux. Et sans la moindre sensation d'irritation sur les gencives. C'est le vrai côté "sonic" : magique. Ça reproduit vraiment la sensation d'un détartrage professionnel.

I’m an ex-Oral B electric toothbrush user and I have to say this Philips product blows its competition away. First the brush head is bigger than Oral B’s so it covers more area, and it has two modes; Clean and White so you can alternate btw the two. It auto stop at the two min mark which previously Oral B’s continue to spin if you ignore the alarm. The brush head and the body fits nicer and seems to be of better make. Overall super happy with the purchase and it comes with a travel box for use on your trips.
