Years ago I used to weld a little with my father on a regular machine....so this is much different and smaller. The machine itself seems well made. The instructions are a little confusing to me but again I'm a beginner. Where things went south is you need something called a Tig Lifter that must be purchased separately. Basically until I spend money it's a useless box to me. So now I have to research that, find what that is and get one. And really depending on what that may cost I may not even want to keep this unit. I think they should include at least the minimum things you need to operate the machine. It's aggravating and especially at this time of year when everyone is busy anyway.
