Vision: Color and Composition for Film

Visual is a language on its own, and people can tell amazing stories with Visual alone. If you are someone who very passion about Visual Storytelling through comics, animation, movies...then this book is perfect for you to learn fundamentals of visual "vocabulary" and "grammar".

I've been self-studying art for a long time now. The moment I received this book and took a look inside I could tell instinctively that I've hit a gold mine of information. It touches upon so many areas in a succinct way with clear and visual examples. It is an incredibly dense book of information that I will probably come back to for years to come.

The book is very beautiful, with well-done images by the master himself! Being an animation major, I can't wait to learn from this book and apply his teachings to future projects!

I think this book in combination with the Jame gurney book is all one needs for color. This book simplifies a lot about design as well. Easily one of my 5 most important books to learn from.

This book is loaded with a wealth of computational info I have yet to find in any other book, a must have for any one perusing a career in animation or video games

As a professional colorist, I recommend this for anyone interesting in visual arts like comic book art/coloring as well.

Este libro me ha ayudado a comprender muchos conceptos fundamentales de la composición en el arte. Tiene una armonía tan excelente entre lo visual y lo textual, por ende, se disfruta demasiado leerlo, y todos los ejemplos visuales que muestra ayuda a comprender el mismo texto.Lo adquirí para adentrarme más en el arte conceptual, y definitivamente ha logrado su objetivo. Enseña temas como Color, Valor y su distribución, Emoción, Formas, Iluminación, entre otros, de una manera muy bien ilustrada.Es una misma obra de arte este libro. Y eso es lo que me encanta.

Das Produkt kam schnell an und war in gutem Zustand. In diesem Buch gibt es reichlich Informationen, die man gründlich durchlesen und studieren kann. Ich habe es noch nicht zu Ende gelesen, aber schon jetzt viele gute Informationen daraus erhalten.
