Another great little Thomas book. It pretty much only features Dennis and Thomas in the story.Dennis is new and, as it turns out, a Really Lazy Engine. He tries to get Thomas to do all of his work - but when things don't go quite as planned he speeds away and comes a-cropper on a turn. Thomas comes to the rescue, Dennis realises error of his ways, forgiveness is given and everyone is friends at the end.Just what you want from a Thomas book. As per usual, the pictures are well drawn and the book is robust enough to withstand rough handling from your little ones.It's definitely one of the better ones and I'd recommend it to anyone with a child interested in Thomas.

Got this book for my grandson Jack. I haven't given it him yet, as I'm collecting books with Jack's name for him. I look forward to reading them with him in the future. He's going to be a big brother just after Christmas. I only hope that I can find books with their name so they won't be left out.

Really enjoyed reading the Thomas the Tank Engine series when my children where young and now to have found one named 'Jack' for my grandson is a great way to introduce the books to him.

Bought it for my kid called Jack because I am a sucker. He has read other Thomas books but even this one was too boring. Someone tell me how it ends because we never made it there...
