Nintendo Wii Console (White) with Mario Kart: Includes White Wii Wheel and Wii Remote

Brilliant wii console which can be difficult to get hold of now

A Wii and two games for under one hundred pounds?! I came rather late to the table with regards discovering the Wii, but at this price I just had to see what all the fuss is about. First off, when I opened up the box I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of items that fell out, but actually, setting the console up is very straight forward, even the positioning of the sensor bar (which I thought would take ages to get just right) seemed to be perfect right from the start. The whole motion sensor thing is rather a clever idea, and one which, being brought up on Playstation type gamepads, was surprisingly enjoyable and easy to get the hang of. The two sports games will I'm sure offer enough variety to keep the kids busy for some time over Christmas, and I'm sure that with an extra controller, the whole family will have a great time. There is a bit of negativity surrounding the whole family-friendly nature of the games, and whilst I do believe that the games will be most enjoyed by children or families playing together (I couldn't see myself picking it up on my own when the kids are in bed) it's not a negative. The Wii has deliberately targeted that corner of the market, and as long as buyers are aware of this, then you really shouldn't mark it down. It does everything it claims to do, and for that it gets full marks!

Bought the Nintendo Wii (Black) with Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort in October. My husband had a major operation in July and was in hospital for 2 months. He lost a lot of weight so we thought getting this game machine would help him get back some strength and make him move around so aiding his recovery. He likes the tennis (although this is a bit more strenuous than some of the other games, golf is a little more gentle and Air sports - flying over the island popping balloons is gentler still - you can sit down to this I've found, Dogfight and Skydiving. I like the Bowling training session as you get to knock down lots of pins starting at 10 and going up to 91, brilliant. You have to make up a character for each person who wants to play on the Wii so you get to choose face shape, hair colouring and style etc etc and of course you have to name it this is called a Mii. You use the Mii to play the games on the console. I also like the Baseball (need to get the hang of this though timing is crucial) and Basketball is good fun too. You can have a go at Archery, Boxing, Swordplay, Canoeing, Wakeboarding, Table Tennis, Power Cruising - can't get the hang of jumping through hoops above the waves though, Cycling. You will need a nunchuk with one or two of these games, these are about £15 each. I recommond getting a Nintenda Wii - hours of fun!!!

First let me inform that the console in this bundle is the normal Wii (retro-compatible with Game Cube) and not the new one (2011 Family edition). This bundle pack comes with the console (normal one) plus Wii motion plus controller with a nuchuck and a Wii wheel to attach to the controller and to be used with the Mario Kart Wii that came with the pack. All cables and required connectors are included (note that the video cable is a simple Av one). This pack does not offer the standard Wii resort games, so this is oriented to Mario kart fans (like me lol). Console came with the most recent firmware 3.4e (European)(October 2011). If you are like me and dont really care much for the motion controlled games but still want to play some of the tittles available on the Wii, this is the perfect Pack for you. Plus is a normal version and you can use old GameCube controllers (meaning that can buy very cheap ones on Ebay) and play Gamecube games, that you can buy very cheap now a days. Since i'm a GameCube owner and i have a 4 controllers plus a lot of games is nice to be able to use them on the Wii. Note of advice for HDTV owners: Buy a Component Cable to be able to use 480p image.

Items arrived complete and well-packaged, in good time and all in good working condition. Nothing was missing or below expectations. As the Wii's AV cable is incompatible with my current television, the seller was courteous enough to swap the AV cable for a compatible Wii2HDMI cable for no extra charge, and checked that it worked with the console before dispatching. Very good service.

I am quite a Nintendo fan. But even I hesitated about getting the wii after hearing mixed things about the motion sensitive controller. At first, I thought my hesitation and reluctance were justified, since the first wi games were not great, the graphics weren't amazing compared to its rivals, the motion capture was flawed, etc. As time as gone on, I did eventually decide to get a wii for several reasons. 1) Being a Nintendo fan, there were some great Nintendo only games on the wii (Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Xenoblades, etc). 2) I loved my gamecube and the wii could still play gamecube games. 3) The price was really cheap and is going getting cheaper now. 4) The main initial problems with the wii have been overcome (motion controls have been fine tuned/removed for some games, graphics still pale in comparison to rival consoles, but still make some games look beautiful, etc.) The wii is a great family console, without any doubt. Anyone can find a game that they like on the wii and enjoy it. But more hardcore gamers may find the wii lacking in terms of mature games and challenges. Online play is also sometimes a pain to set up, whereas they are much easier on other consoles. I overall enjoy my wii but if you are after a new console, have a think about what it is that you want to get out of it.

Las instrucciones van en ingles pero no hay problema xq en internet se pueden buscar en español, además es facil de conectar todo. Nada mas encender la consola aparecerá la elección de idioma donde está el español. Tened en cuenta que el enchufe es ingles y tendreis que comprar un adaptador de corrriente europeo que se puede encontrar en cualquier tienda. Gracias a otros usuarios que advirtieron de esto yo compré el adaptador antes que llegara la wii y tenerlo todo listo. Ahora a disfrutarla.

Aparte de mandarlo en pésimas condiciones, Con una caja apestando a humedad, me la envían con la caja del Wii resorts sin el juego dentro y no envían el Wii sports que anunciaban. Después de hablar con ellos llegamos a un acuerdo en que me mandan otros juegos entre ellos algún mario. Pues me envian 2 cd de software para ver pelis y fotos en la Wii.

Sie ist gebraucht was man auch sieht,aber sie fungtioniert auch wenn der ständer für den sensor leider gefehlt hat...aber nachdem ich mir noch eine 2. fernbedinung geholthab haben wir viel spass

Très bonne console. Cependant lorsque je l'ai commandé je n'ai pas fait attention à la prise d'alimentation qui ne correspondait pas aux normes françaises ! C'était une sorte de grosse griffe à trois branches. J'ai donc du racheter un autre cordon d'alimentation afin de pouvoir utiliser la consonne, ce qui fait que je n'ai pu l'utiliser qu'après le 09 janvier ! Ceci étant elle fonctionne très bien et les enfants s'amusent beaucoup avec. Rien à redire d'autre.
