I am in IT.. but even I understand how important it is to get some variety in the educational diet of your kids. My son got a 3d "printing" pen a few years ago as a present and at first, he wasn't really that interested. During his last year of primary a couple of years later he found it in his toy box and decided he wanted to get it out and give it a go. He popped on to YouTube and found a few videos to learn what he could do with it and find something he could make. Once he got started, he melted his way though the sample pack of filaments that came with the pen in no time.That is where this came in. The problem we had is that there were only a few colours and not much length of filament in the sample pack that came with the pen so when this came up I grabbed it. There is a good choice of colours - including some more unusual ones and that is great for him to experiment with different designs using his 3D pen. The filament is standard size (1.75mm) PLA so may also be handy if you want to do a small print in an unusual colour on a mainstream 3D printer too. It arrived in a zip lock bag rather than vacuum sealed, which is fine for the sorts of things he will do with his pen, but if you do want to try it for small items in your printer I would recommend you put it in a filament dryer first to get the best prints - other than that it is exactly as advertised and not a bad price for the variety of colours.

The variety of 20 different colors is fantastic, it gives them plenty of options to be creative. The colors are vibrant, and the filament is easy to load into the 3D pen, which is great for younger kids who might struggle with more complicated setups. The PLA material seems high quality, and I haven't noticed any significant issues with clogging in our pen, which has been a problem with other filament brands we've tried. Each color is around 16.4 feet long, adding up to a decent amount of material, though I wish each strand was a bit longer, as some colors run out quicker than expected when working on bigger projects. Overall, this set is an excellent value, especially for beginners and kids who want to experiment with 3D pen art.

After having dismissed 3D pens as a bit of a rough 3D printing method that couldn't create anything cool I've recently seen a some things that can be created and decided I may have been wrong.Fortunately, a friend of mine had a 3D pen that he didn't use so much now, so I asked if I could borrow it to test these filaments with... and OMG... I am absolutely hooked.It takes a little getting used to, but you can make some very cool models with these things. I've also been using a soldering iron to smooth the designs and I've been really amazed with what you can make.These filaments are very good, they melt very smoothly, and I don't know how much is the filament and what is the pen, but it doesn't block and clog together, making the process of making something very smooth indeed.The colours are bold, and stay the same colour even when melted. I will assume that there is a fairly standard size for 3D pens, as these filaments fit this random pen that I got hold of.All in all, a really nice kit that has actually amazed me and I am looking to get my own 3D pen now (if I can't persuade my friend to give me this on extended loan)

Got these with intention of using in a 3D printer when needing just a little bit of a specific colour, and these are great for that, and save buying a whole kilo of a colour when you only need a small amount. Filament is the standard 1.75mm, so as long as the device you're using is the same then it'll likely work. Filament works great, lays down nicely without blobs or stringing.

These filaments are an excellent choice for 3D pens, as they come in a wide variety of colors and are compatible with my nephew’s pen. The filaments melt quickly and flow smoothly, producing no unpleasant odors. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others.

I recently ordered a 3D pen, which is great bit of kit, but it only comes with three skeins of filament. This selection of 20 is a wonderful addition to our 3D pen kit, giving opportunities make more detailed models and colourful accessories - the sky's the limit!In the package, you get 20 colours of PLA, each colour is carefully packaged for east at home. This should keep us going for a long time to come and is lots of fun for the kids. Appears to work as expected and is easy to swap out for other shades as you work.Four stars.

Lovely selection of colours. The PLA is great for using with the 3D pen and it works well.The PLA comes coiled up in 5 meter length, and secured with twisted wire ties. The 2 coiled PLA colours are packaged in a plastic bag.

Das Filament lässt sich gut verarbeiten und lieferte mit unserem 3DStift prima Ergebnisse. Die Stärke ist durchgängig passgenau. Die Menge pro Farbe sollte man im Auge behalten, man benötigt bei manchen Projekten doch mehr als man zu Beginn dachte.
