I recently purchased this dashboard car phone mount and it has some great features. The installation process was easy and straightforward. The stays mount securely in place on my dashboard. It seems pretty sturdy and grasps / holds the phone securely. The clamping part used for the dash is a little fickle though as the clamp jaws are not very long and the clamp curvature keeps it from snuggly grasping many parts of my dash. If I hook it up in the center of the dash top above the instrument cluster, it sticks up pretty high in my field of vision. I found a lower section of the dash top, off-center that it holds pretty firmly and does not obstruct my vision. I check it once and awhile to make sure it’s not slipping. For the inexpensive price, it is a good deal and functional.

Sturdy and adjustable.Older F250 needed something robust to hold the phone, especially with potholes and bumpy roads. I was surprised at how this handles those conditions. It comes with another part to attach to vent but don’t use that because of heat in winter. Another thing I like is the button on back which lets me open the single arms on each side. Much easier than trying to press open levers on both sides. The phone holder is on a completely rotating and adjustable ball socket. It was tricky getting seated and tightening the nut around it but once seated and angled properly worked great and is sturdy. I think was a great buy for the money. Would buy again.
