Convenient
Easy to set up and use. I love that it's more portable than my hard kayaks.

Canopy tricky to figure out how it goes
Not tested in water yet but looks very adequate

Fun for now, but clearly not built to last
We were enjoying more watersports this summer and wanted to add occasional kayaking to the mix. In looking around, we liked the idea of this one having the canopy, since we all know how easy it is to get burnt to a crisp out on the water. Also, it was reasonably priced, which was nice, since we were not going to be out every weekend. It was a bit of a pain to assemble, since it didn't seem to work with the powered inflator we had. So we had to use the manual pump (that was included, at least). But that will make spontaneous trips out of the lake a little less frequent -- given the effort. Otherwise, it's pretty straightforward how it all comes together. That being said, we had trouble ever getting it to the point that it felt truly fully inflated, without some air escaping. But good enough to be seaworthy, I suppose.Once we were out on the water, it was nice generally, but a couple of things remind you that you get what you pay for. For one, the paddles are really flimsy. I don't think they will make it through too many trips -- and I wouldn't want to stray far from shore with these without having a rescue team ready to get me in a boat. The other is the material of the boat itself doesn't feel all that thick. I just worry that it'll get punctured easier than I would expect. For instance, I wouldn't want my dogs nails testing the impenetrability. So we'll get a few uses with this the remaining bits of summer. But I think if we get serious about kayaking next year, we may go for something that feels heavier duty and built to last.

Don’t waste your money
Had it out on second lake trip and right side would not hold air! The paddles are cheap and bend easily. Had to throw it out due to it not holding air! Complete waste of my money.
