Tires are of good quality and were priced well. Installing these were very arduous. I put them in boiling water for 10-12 minutes which made them more pliable. I sprayed the rims with a soap and water mix. That said, it still took every once of strength and effort to get them on the rims. I'd suggest using zip ties to hold as much as you can get placed by hand and then using the tool that comes with the tires along with a couple of large screwdrivers get the tire onto the round grip rail. Zip tie, then work it the rest of the way onto the rim with the pry tools. I still had a twist in the tires that had to be adjusted.

A strong and determined woman can do this. You might think that you got the wrong size, but they do stretch and fit perfectly. Would recommend purchasing 20 or so additional strong zip ties, then put the tires in a pot of water and bring to a boil, then let set in hot water for 20-30 minutes before starting. Also, a spray bottle with a small amount of soap added to the bottle, then fill with water. Spray onto the tire before starting. Once you start, use zip ties every 3-4 inches and do not stop. Stopping would allow the tires to cool down, making them less stretchy and harder to finish. I left the wheels on the wheelchair, then turned it upside down so that I could use my legs to leverage the wheels.

They are a struggle to install but it is doable. I used zip ties every few inches as I went around, using the provided lever. The second one went more smoothly. I did heat them in hot water, I’m not sure if it helped because they were room temperature by the time I had them halfway installed.

They were hard to put on but my husband did it and they work very well.

My mother uses a Healthline wheelchair and the tires were shred up, leaving a trail of debris every place it went. These replacement tires are great. I let them sit in hot water for ten minutes as recommended. I took the first tire out and I think I could have eventually put in on myself, but it probably would have taken hours, and that would have been incredibly frustrating and expletive-filled, and my fingers and arms would be wobbly noodles afterwards. After getting one on, I’d probably wait at least another day before trying to tackle the second one. I would definitely recommend having another person to help. I actually had two, and we were able to get the first one on in under 30 minutes. The zip ties and metal tools are immensely helpful, and I would definitely recommend using a rubber mallet. I don’t know if we could have gotten it on without one. After putting on the first tire, I got the remaining one from the still-hot pot of water. It was MUCH easier to put on. It definitely took us less time because we’d gotten the hang of it after putting one on already, but having the second tires sit in heat made it much more pliable and I didn’t have to use the mallet nearly as much. It probably took us about 15 minutes for the second one. All-in-all it took three able-bodied adults a bit under an hour to put on. I would definitely buy again, but next time soak the tires for longer and I’d make sure I had someone to help me.
