Best pork boudin I’ve had in years!
Pork Boudin from Cajun Original Foods is the best I’ve had in a couple of years. The shipping container kept boudin frozen all the way to South Carolina. I ate some immediately and the flavor was fantastic. It had the perfect spices and texture just as I had remembered it years ago when I used to live in Lake Charles as a teenager. The price was fair compared to other brands and I will definitely order it again soon!

Casings will rupture.
The flavor is great, but cooking them there are some problems. First I boiled a pack and the center sausage’s casing ruptured. So I lost one sausage. Next I steamed a pack and again the center sausage’s casing ruptured but this time I was able to scoop the contents out of the steamer and enjoyed it. Did the steamer one more time and once again the center sausages casing ruptured.

Slightly Wrong Order
We have ordered and loved the Alligator sausage before as an appetizer for our Mardi Gras party. However, this time we received 2 Alligator and 1 Crawfish. I am sure it will be great but we will have to be careful with our people who are allergic to shellfish.

Beware don't buy
I have been buying this brand alligator sausage for years from other companies. This time I bought them off at Amazon. I used them all the time in my gumbo these were the worst alligator sausage I have ever purchased. They disintegrated there was not one piece of gated sausage in my gumbo they would disgusting after frying them and taking them out of the pot. They literally sell a pot. You could not slice them. They will mush to disgusting. Be aware, I'm warning you don't buy them disgustingly gross

Tasted good, not too mild and not too spicy.
Best to pick these up on delivery. These were delivered to the North Central US and they were still very cold, between 35 and 40 degrees, which is all right for seafood.

Boudin stuffed Pork Loin
This was excellent used to stuff a bacon wrapped pork loin with Comeax Mild Boudin. Great flavor and not spicy.
