2nd use failed
I bought this specially to use to listen to when I'm in my formal living room especially for Christmas music around this time of year. I opened it, set it up, tested it, and it seemed to work fine. I went in last night on Christmas Eve to sit by the tree and turned it on, and as you can see in the video, something went terribly wrong. This should not be happening the second time turning it on.

ALMOST perfect!
Iโm a gear snob, so this purchase was outside of my comfort zone. My last monitor was a splurge, a $1000 Dell gsync 1440p 1ms 144hz that was INCREDIBLE. Faint lines started showing up on it while working on a deadlined project, so I took to Amazon to see what I could get quickly. I saw this thing, looked up some reviews, compared specs, looked it over, and decided to take a chance. For the price if it sucks, I didnโt lose that much money. It has now been 2 months of every day use, and Iโm more than happy that it is my primary monitor now. Iโm still waiting for the catch. It FEELS kinda plastic and cheap, but thatโs because it is. The cost cut has to come from somewhere, but who cares unless youโre touching or moving it ever, which, probably not. The color takes some time to adjust and dial in, but if youโve ever calibrated a tv or another monitor, once you have your test patterns and a little patience, I got mine almost identical to my previous one side by side before putting it to rest. The brightness, clarity, response time, and viewing angle are all amazing. Iโve done 3D modeling, word processing, gaming, Iโve used multiple windows simultaneously, all looked and performed great. This thing is legit. The only complaint I have with it, and I donโt even know if itโs just mine or across the board, is that when I turn my PC on or wake it up from sleep, the monitor takes FOREVER to turn itself back on. Iโm talking when I had both of mine plugged in and I wiggled the mouse, the old monitor was on in less than 2 seconds. This guy is pushing probably 12-15 seconds. That is a long time. The first few times I was assuming something was wrong with my PC. Once itโs on, thatโs all and youโre left with an insanely competent monitor for the price.

Bad Quality Control. Purchase = GAMBLE
This is an amazing monitor. It is stunning and has really cool capabilities. However, I believe these people have very bad quality control, because half of the people that get this monitor have it fail in less then a year. Mine stopped working after a month. And the customer service by KTC answers in a couple of business days and did not offer refunds. Amazon however was very nice and offered me a refund even tho a month had passed. So, have in mind when purchasing this monitor that it is a GAMBLE. You might get a fully working, 4K, high FPS and beautiful color panel, or you might get a brick in less then a year. Good luck to anybody purchasing this

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Specs are great, but don't expect anything past the numbers. I purchased (3) of the 42" OLED monitors in "Black" for a sim racing system I have. After weeks of research I decided to go with the KTC based on specs to value. HUGE Mistake!!! To no fault of KTC or Amazon I missed the Black Friday sale for personal reasons but ended up buying the very next morning only 4 hours after the sale ended. The price as expected went up but KTC had a $200 "Coupon" attached to make them after Black Friday, making them the same price as the "Black Friday Sale" price. Turns out this is the price 95% of the time as I have learned, so it is not much of a discount if that's what you pay all the time. Sorry, I am digressing. My problems starts now...I needed (3) monitors and the coupon was only good for one at a time apparently. Soooo I bought one, had my wife buy one on her own account at the coupon price, and I paid full price for the 3rd one for $200 more. I contaced Amazon customer service and they were great. They we the only ones that can reach out to KTC as I was told, so it was in their hands to ask for the 3rd monitor to be discounted as well. I did not think that would be an issue being just 4 hours earlier they were at that price with no purchase limits. Not only did I NOT hear back from them EVER, but I received the monitors in the mean time while still waiting for a responce on the $200 discount. $2,546 woth of monitors purchased, I would think $200 is a small ask. Here we are 2 weeks later and NOT A WORD from KTC. Issue number two. ALL (3) monitors showed up in "white" and NOT "Black" as I ordered. Devistated after opening the first box and seeing this error, I went back to my oders to verified I had not made the mistake when ordering them. Nope, it wasn't me, but KTC just not paying attention and shipping the wrong color monitors. Errors happen, but this really makes no sense. The two I ordered came in white. You would think the one my wife ordered from a separate account would be in the correct color, but that's a big fat NOPE as well. All (3) came in white. Help me make sense of them not respond to a simple $200 refund request, but ship me (3) monitors in the wrong color that sell for $200 EACH more just because they are "white". But wait, it gets better. I decided to return all (3) monitors being "white" and not "black" and not being a fit for my room and needs. I did as I always do to initiate a return with Amazon and ended up being forced to pay $59.00 for "Return Shipping". This was not $59.00 for all 3 monitors....Noooo, $59.00 EACH. So now I am out $177 for monitors I ordered that arrived in the wrong color due to KTC's error and NOT mine! Do you think I can get a responce after messaging them through Amazon? You guessed it...NOPE! I only opened one box and the other two completely untouched by the way, so they are getting 2 new and 1 opened with not a finger print on it new monitors at the low cost of making$177 on me to ship them back. Aaaaaaand, as of today 12/21/24, which it "7" days after the returned items were handed over to UPS store, I still have not received a dime of $2,546 less the $177 shipping costs to return the items. Bottom line is...Even if the product was amazing, this experience should serve as a stern warning that if you need help, or God forbid a return...consider yourself warned!!! I recommend paying a little more to get a lot more in the end from a MUCH BETTER RUN COMPANY.

Solid performer
Ok. I purchased this monitor (H34S18S) back in August 2024. This is a solid monitor. Very good picture quality, immersive, wide color gamut, 4000: contrast ratio, and up to 165Hz. The wire cover at the back of the monitor is held securely in place via magnets. It works well. There are also 2 HDMI ports and 2 DP ports and one headphone jack. There are no KVM or USB hub. As far as aesthetics go, it isn't a fancy looking monitor with a lot of crap tacked on it. There is a simple led ring at the back that randomly changes colors. It adds a nice touch without going over the top. There is an option to turn it off. Other than that. Very simple, clean look to it. Picture quality is impressive. I enjoy the 4000:1 contrast ratio. Blacks are deep and colors pop. That along with the 34" ultrawide makes everything very immersive and enjoyable. I was skeptical about this monitor. What convinced me to purchase this monitor? After doing some research, it turns out that KTC has a long track record. They were around since 1995. The company is a well-known manufacturer of OEM panels. They sold panels to other known brands. All in All, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I hope KTC continues to keep focus on things like picture and build quality and not get too caught up with too much bloat.

So tired of reviews from people that received the product for free
This Smart monitor is bad. Do not buy it. It's 'Dolby' audio is very very tinny. It arrived with a giant cluster of 16 bad pixels (if you search the web for reviews you'll see I'm not alone in this). The colors are washed out. The remote takes CR2032 batteries and requires a screw driver to change them. The power brick is massive. I owned it for a whole 60 minutes before boxing it up and returning it. Stay away. If you want a "Smart" monitor buy one from one of the known brands. I'm sure KTC makes some good value products, but this is not one of them.

Packaging not great
I am only giving this 3 stars because the packaging this arrived in was in terrible shape. The box was ripped and had holes in it. It looked used. That part is unneceptable given the price tag of this monitor and the fact that I ordered it as a "new" not a "used" item. I had to equally screw back in a screw that fell out of the monitor itself. Again, this is unacceptable. It gets 3 stars because once the monitor was powered up, it displayed beautifully. And it was very simple to set up. Literally a plug and play type situation. This, I really appreciate. No downloading of software immediately or hours of aggravating set up required. The only adjuments to make, are to your personal ones when it comes to color settings. The monitor itself displays great and runs smoothe which was refreshing. I just hope this company improves on their quality control standards.

Amazing OLED panels, great value
Absolutely amazing screen. I bought 3 42in OLED panels for a triple screen racing simrig. OLED colors are just as expected. They do easily output 138Hz. The firmware level software is decent, has a few OLED pixel restoration options that can be set to automatically run if needed. The packaging is high quality and well done, so the monitors are very well protected. My only callouts, not negatives, are: I did notice that these are much heavier than something like a movie/TV focused OLED panel. The back side seems to have a lot on it. The design makes it slightly harder to hold/lift because the edges of the OLED panel itself are "unsupported", but there are to be fair a lot of warnings on how to lift it in the manual and on the panels themselves. Also, having 3 panels side by side makes the remotes act a bit weird, I think the remotes are universal and not coded to the specific panel they are shipped with, so if you have multiple panels, a remote click might register on one or multiple panels. Not a big deal, it's simply due to my multi-panel setup.
