I bought this transfer chair for my husband who is too weak to walk. It has been money well spent. It makes doctor's appointments a breeze, we can go for rides again in the car and toileting is easier than ever. I don't know how we did it without this transfer chair. When trying to make the decision to buy the Basic Version or the Upgraded Version, I went with the Basic Version, not realizing that the Upgraded Version came with a firm seat instead of the soft seat. After a trip to the doctor I knew at that point my husband would need a firm seat for more comfort. I contacted the seller with my concern and with no hesitation he sent me the firm seat. My experience has been exceptional and hope you don't wait to get this device if you need it. You wont be sorry. 100% satisfaction with this purchase.

Tardo en llegar pero valió la pena, es muy funcional

Me ha venido a resolver la vida..mi paciente ya no sufre al momento de moverla y cambiarla...es realmente un invento sencillo pero práctico y muy resistente, los asientos son lavables y todo se puede meter a la regadera, muchas gracias en verdad...valió la pena 100%recomendable

My Husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the Fall of 2023. At that point I was able to, with his help, get him up when he fell. He was re- diagnosed in the Spring of 2024 with PSP and became increasingly unable to help me with getting him up after falls. We borrowed a Hoyser lift which was large and cumbersome. I found this Patient Lift Transfer Chair on Amazon and purchase it in November of 2024. We have found it indispensable in moving him without anyone else's help. It did take some practice. I made mistakes that I have learned from, such as be sure to attach the straps on the inside of the wheelchair or the wheelchair will also lift. At this point we have established a routine that fairly quickly moves him from recliner to bed and vice-versa. The only problem I've had is, despite correctly connecting the seat (seat is attached with straps underneath), the straps have loosened themselves from the seat at an attachment juncture. I contacted the Owner who replaced the seat in short order. These seats seem to be very well made and I'm hopeful this is a rarity. I assembled this Lift Transfer Chair by myself out on our deck. While directions were a bit lacking, particularly at the end, I was able to put it together in fairly short order without any other input. Several nights a week we have help putting my Husband to bed without using this Lift, but I sincerely don't know what we'd do without it and hope I will always be able to use it. Although it is a bit expensive, it has been worth the cost to us, with the exception of the cost of replacement seats. I am thankful the Seller was willing to provide a replacement seat as the cost of this seat on Amazon is, in my opinion, excessive.
