Very tasty
We love this wine and the step by step instructions are so easy to follow and it tastes far nicer than any shop bought wine. Works out at £1 per bottle

It's okay. Sort of.
It works, but as some reviewers have stated, it has a bit of a strange aftertaste. Maybe it's just me as I normally drink Chardonnay and Rose, but what the heck, as the brew has almost all been quaffed it's a success. In a way.

Don’t drink straight away, refrigerate for 2-3 weeks then it tastes amazing !
After first making this wine and trying it, I thought it’s not the best, BUT , after leaving some bottles in the fridge for a couple of weeks and then drinking some , it is amazing. Reminds me of the Jam Shed white wine which has a creamy taste. So glad I left some for later as it is definitely a brew / fridge / wait / enjoy wine. Will definitely buy again.

My wine is undrinkable
My wine is still not clear after 2 weeks I have tried calling the help number numerous times but no answer it was the same as the 2 Sauvignon blanc kits that I bought. I need a solution of what to use to get my wine to clear so it is drinkable. Will some contact me with a solution please

I'm Getting Hammered In The Morning...
30 bottles in 7 days. Mmmm. Really. I've done gallon kits for many years with great success, so I was reluctant to change what works for me. But at £22 a kit, I thought this was worth a gamble. Well, right from the off, I've been impressed. Fermentation was like Vesuvias meets Krakatoa within minutes of getting the brew going. It continued like that for 3 or 4 days, a huge frothy yeast monster towering up the fermenter... before finally subsiding for a couple of days of steady away bubbling. The hydrometer gave me the thumbs up around day 8... a couple of hours ago I started the clearing. It was a cloudy creamy white mass 2 hours ago and now it's almost see through. By tomorrow I expect it will be clear enough to rack. Of course, with it clearing from the top down, it would have been silly not to quaff a little, just to see how it goes down. I've not done an alcohol conversion, but I have no doubt at all that this is in the 12-13% region at the very least. From the first sip you know it's done the job. Tomorrow we shall rack 4 demi johns and leave it in the cellar for a while to mature, the 5th gallon shall be enjoyed over the next few days. It's not going to make its way onto the wine list at the Ritz... but for 65p ish a bottle, you're probably getting the equivalent of a £5/£6 Tesco wine. Will be starting the next batch at the weekend and printing off some custom lables to turn these into Christmas presents for family and friends.
