Independently published The Surrogate Mother: An addictive psychological thriller you won't be able to put down

The way the author writes is more curt and to the point but it doesn't effect the flow. The characters are funny and relatable and as a woman struggling with infertility who has flirted with the idea of surrogacy several times, I relate so hard to the protagonist Abby. Despite the plot being cliché and predictable, there were a few plot twists and some turns I didn't expect. It's a quick and fun read and I definitely recommend! :)

今まで洋書を完読できたことがありませんでした。私の英語レベルでは、ストーリーがわかっているものでも1ページ読むのに時間がかかり過ぎて最後まで読めたためしがありません。ところが初めて読んだこの作家さんの小説は、多少わからない単語を飛ばしても先に進めるのです。私が今まで読んできた日本のミステリーものにはなかった展開が多く、どのお話もとても面白い。本作もとても読みやすくドキドキハラハラする内容で、大満足の一冊でした。

Finished this one in 24 hours! It isn’t talked about enough. Certain characters made me so mad and just kept getting worse. Freida did an amazing job with this one once again
