I've always loved Pentel mech pencils, and these are a treat. Just as well designed and study as the regular ones, these come in a variety of lead sizes in such beautiful colors. Makes me happy using them. Can't emphasize how lovely the colors are!

Ah, the classic Pentel Sharp mechancial pencils... so familiar, like a wonderful pair of old jeans. I've used the 0.5 version of this pencil (and the similar Sakura mechancial pencil) since I was 12 years old... so many drawings, so many notes in school and college. Over the years my mechanical pencil collection has grown and expended but I always smile when I see one of my old Sharps in my pencil box (a wooden cedar cigar box -- appropriate for pencils of various kinds). So when I saw this limited edition collection of the classic Sharps BUT done in classic Kimono colors -- this pencil nerd had to have it! I love the colors! I love the pencil shape. they bring me joy to see. And if you get a set, you'll enjoy using them, these pencils are simple and just work without a bunch of fuss.

It came in a nice collector's box which was nice as it was a gift for a student of mine. Very classy...the only thing missing was a little bit of extra lead to get started. Very nice set, delivered quickly and intact.

A really sweet little set! Love the colors, they add a nice touch. Packaging could have been better, these are expensive, they were all floating around because no bubble wrap. Art supplies are precious, they should be treated as such.
