As others have mentioned, it does have a strong SPF smell and feels as if you're putting on sunscreen rather than a light facial moisturizer -- like a Neutrogena or Skinceuticals. It goes on thick and absorbs quickly, but that SPF smell bugs me. I know some like it, as it's reminiscent of the beach, but it's not for me on a day-to-day basis. I like to put on a facial moisturizer and forget it's there; this just seems to hang... The other thing too is that it's not waterproof. The bottle even says to use a waterproof sunscreen with it, so in effect you'll be double layering.If you're going to be outside at a picnic, this should work fine -- you'll get the benefit of a moisturizer and sunscreen. If you're going to be more active outdoors (working or exercising), it'd be best to use a regular sunscreen.
