"Dock and Roll: The Surface Dock 2 Delivers"
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)The Surface Dock 2 is like that reliable friend who always has your back—well, your laptop's back, at least. For $250, you get a well-built docking station that handles all your devices without sweat. With multiple ports and a USB-C to C cable, this is perfect for transforming your desk into a productivity machine. It feels sturdy and could survive the occasional angry desk slap during a rough workday. Plus, it looks sleek enough that you won't mind it sitting on your desk—bonus points for not being an eyesore. The included microfiber cloth is a nice touch, too; it keeps everything fingerprint-free (at least for a few minutes).Price-wise, $250 might seem steep, but it starts to feel like a decent deal when you realize this has you covered with fast charging and device connectivity. It's not a must-have for everyone, but if you're in the Surface ecosystem, this dock will make life easier.I knocked off one star because nothing's perfect—but this is pretty close! One final note now shown in the photos but in the text description is that this dock uses the Surface Connect Cable. It's a proprietary cable that looks like an external ribbon-like connection and magsafe all in one. It magnetically attaches to Microsoft Surface Laptops only (nothing else like Dell, HP, etc) and provides power and connectivity. Don't get this if you don't own or intend to use it with a Microsoft Surface device with this port.

Not new
The title of this product says "new," but the package I received had the tape cut and had been resealed. The AC cable also looked like it was replaced with a third-party one. Everything looked and functioned fine, but I would not call this new.The dock is very nice with an ample number of ports. Due to its heft with two blocks, this is something you will want to set on a desk and leave. The weight of each piece does help keep them in place and plugging the cable will not make them slide around like some other docks. I like that with one cable I can get high-speed USB, network, and video with this official adapter.

Everything you need for your Surface Pro, but is expensive
I don't know why something like this cost $200+. In an age where you can get tablets for that much, it's odd that a docking station needs more than an external hard drive. However, this is an excellent option for an official Microsoft Dock that works specifically with your Surface Pro. It hooks up quickly and is sleek enough to fit among most office set-ups. I didn't have any issues with connections or stability, so you get something that works well. I wish the price were more manageable. There is an added microfiber cloth and USB-C cable that is not included in most of these; however, it doesn't enhance the value of the device much.

It works flawlessly.
The docking station works flawlessly with a Surface Pro 9 I connected. It comes with an extra USB-C to USB-C cable which I am not complaining but it doesn't add that much value to its already expensive docking station. I mean, all these manufacturers tend to nickel and dime us for accessories but at over $200 for a docking station for the notebooks which already costs more than $1500 at least, it is a bit too much.
