Good beginning gardener kit
My nine-year-old granddaughter that this was fun to put together, but wasn’t really sure about the seed bar until she saw how quickly they sprouted then she was amazed that her little critters had a old forest to live in

Product is as described, but heads up... it ships in it's own box with a label on the side! If you are getting this as a present and live with the child it's for, the surprise may be ruined!

Very cute, but not great for impulsive kids
A very cute craft. Daughter was excited to receive it for her birthday. She put it all together the very same day. Then she proceeded to knock it over twice; and had to throw the dirt away entirely in order to not continue making a mess. Would definitely recommend this for craft lovers but would not recommend it for highly impulsive children. They will likely knock it over and make a big mess. It is pretty small. I didn't realize how small it was from the pictures. But I still think it is worth the purchase.
