Electro-Harmonix Nano Bass Big Muff Pi Fuzz Pedal

Is there much more to say? If you like the Bass Big Muff, this is the same thing, just smaller. What do I like about this pedal vs. other dirt pedals for bass? Well, I like that you have the option of blending in the dry signal with the distorted signal. You can't adjust the mix, you can only adjust whether you want some, or none at all. However, the mix feels pretty good.In practice, what this means is that when you turn this pedal on with the Dry switch on, you get distortion, but you also get the tone of the bass coming through to the amp, so you don't ever have the bottom end drop out on you the way you get with so many other bass distortion pedals. It sounds more like someone added distortion, whereas with other pedals it feels like someone just replaced the bass with a dirty sound and took away the tone of the bass. But when you do want that, just turn the Dry switch off, and you have that option.So really, how can you go wrong?

I bought this to use with a Bass VI, but it never quite sounded right, I think the pickups are too weak. But it sounds amazing on my short scale bass. I keep the dry signal in there and it really gets that low end muff sound I'm looking for. Great value as well.

Its a Bass muff. It's hard to say bad things about a classic sound that it gives. If your looking to add a bit of crunch or heavy Fuzz. Look no further. I use it to add crunch and a little break up when I'm pounding away.

Works great and has held up like a champ. This is the only pedal I ever intend on using with my bass.

Using this as a more practical alternative to my Sovtek Big Muff.It's fantastic. Sounds nearly identical, built very tough, and super compact. It's freed up a ton of room on my pedalboard.

You don't know it yet. You might just be beginning to realise it. But you need this pedal.The fuzz on this pedal is perfect for bass. I use mine on its own or with an overdrive to get a really meaty sound. i expected it to be just cool for the odd Rage Against The Machine cover, or messing around with riffs, but I actually use it way more than I expected. It's just a lot of fun.

An amazing fuzz pedal for bass (I haven't tried it with a guitar yet, but I'm guessing it will be just as good) good tone spectrum from gritty, subby crunch to a digital scream. Excellent seller, helpful when contacted and speedy delivery!

Great fuzz sound through both a smaller practice amp and large head/cabinet stack. Everything from gentle to a fuzzy distorted growl. Check out videos on youtube - certainly a preferred pedal for your Bass.

Awesome big muff sound. Works well for that fat muff sound on the bass.

Love it. Its really got a great sound and with the clean signal option it adds a great depth to the fuzz!
