Proof that you get what you pay for
Looks good but difficult to use. Wrapping the pickup wire "3 or 4 times around a spark plug wire" is a problem - the wire is multi-stranded and won't stay in place without tape. Even so, the rpm figures were all over the place. After an hour of trying to get a usable rpm figure, I gave up. Part of the problem is that the unit is *too* sensitive. I could hold the pickup wire six inches from a plug wire and still get a reading. Also, it makes a difference if you use the unit with the lead wire safely bundled up or whether the wire is stretched to full length - a major safety hazard!The idea behind this unit is good, but better products can be had for similar price. Hard pass on this one.

Awesome little tach
Bought this for my boat with little room to work with and love it works great and small enough to hide anywhere a+

Worked less than weeks display shows nothing
Purchased the meter the 18th of December and recieved it the 21st and installed it on my tractor and when i went to use it on January 3rd its already dead no longer shows anything display is out. Barely lasted 2 weeks before it died already.
