5 STARS!!!!! I absolutely love this gumball machine! I use it in a unique way — instead of gum, I fill it with 1” capsules that each hold the title of a book from my TBR pile (to-be-read books, for non-readers). It works perfectly right out of the box and adds so much fun to choosing my next read. I use quarters to operate it, which doubles as my “book money” — no new book purchases until I’ve saved enough from using the machine. It’s turned my TBR into a reward system, and I’m obsessed. I call her “Reading Roulette”. The capsules fit just right, and the machine works smoothly on the first try every time. It comes with two keys, is easy to disassemble and reassemble, and looks far more elegant and classy in person than any video or photo can capture. It’s become both a functional piece and a conversation starter in my reading space. My only minor complaint is that it’s lightweight — I do wish it had a little more weight to it, just so it wouldn’t shift slightly when turning the knob. But that’s a small issue in an otherwise flawless experience. If you’re looking for something fun, stylish, and practical (especially with a bookish twist), this gumball machine is a total win! Nice machine but definitely only for casual use in a house and for kids. The entire bottom section is plastic as opposed to other machines that are a cast metal material. The coin mechanism seems pretty durable though, but the top plastic “Square Globe” did have a bit of scratching on the sides. Overall, a fun, novelty item to use as a piggy bank, and a decent price.

This is really nice quality. I love how it comes apart too. It's pretty easy to use. Nothing is stiff or hard to turn/open. The sticker on the front left some residue, but I just covered it up with my own sticker so it worked out.

Every time my granddaughter visits my home and excitedly explores my antique gumball machine, she marvels at it. The gumballs inside have been there for 10 years, so she keeps trying to taste them—they’ve become more of a nostalgic decoration than a treat. Wanting to give her a meaningful gift since she received many toys for Christmas, I bought her a red gumball machine for her 6th birthday, filling it with 1-inch different flavor gumballs so she could enjoy simple fun at home. The machine is set to the largest opening, so if she wants more than one gumball if she wishes, her mother can provide smaller ones if needed. The sturdy plastic globe is safe for little kids, even if it falls accidentally. When filled, it's quite weighty but remains secure, and it comes with a key to keep her gumballs and coins safe, which gives me peace of mind. I only wish it accepted coins other than quarters, but in the USA, it functions very reliably without jamming. It’s a wonderful value for the money. When she saw my gift, her face lit up with pure joy, and she kept asking about her gumball machine throughout the party. I gave her a roll of quarters, and now she can start enjoying treats of her own, with her mother’s help. Overall, it’s a gift that brings happiness and a touch of magic into a child's life, and I truly believe it’s something special that she'll cherish forever.

You get what you pay for. This product is made of plastic and aluminum. It is very light weight, and probably easily broken. I wouldn't put this in a place where it can't be watched or you will lose your investment and any profits. That being said, it works great! I'm using it at my booth for vendor fairs and its easy to move and store. *Warning* Some of the new "special" quarters (Mt. Rushmore & Land Stewardship so far) do NOT fit in the opening. They are just slightly larger than other quarters and will jam the machine. Keep small pliers handy for removing them.

Better than expected. This was a gift purchase for a young entrepreneur (grade school age). It's a nice size and perfect for the marketplace they hold for kids. She really likes the lock and keys for the machine. Can't wait to use it for the next market place day. Arrived on time. Thank you!
