Confused but determined, these dragon shifters go against everything they know and take Lena hostage and to where no human has been in centuries.I loved Lena, she’s demure but badass at the same time, open, understanding, gentle, curious and empathetic. Endre, Sirrus and Zovai are jaded and ruthless but caring and endearing. The world building hit all the right points, you really get a feel for the picture Sinclair is trying to paint but it doesn’t drag on or get lost in chapters of world building rather than story storytelling.The story unfolds nicely, the relationships build at a great pace and the story kept me hooked. I loved the side characters and I’m obsessed with our tiny dragon friend Varí!Will these 3 dragon shifters fulfill their duty and sacrifice Lena for the better of their kind or will the unknown force that draws them to her make them risk it all?? No spoilers here so if you’ve read this far do yourself a favor and read this book, you won’t regret it! It does end on a cliffhanger but the best kind, I’ll be patiently waiting to get answers in the next book!

I really enjoyed the world building in this story! Extra points for the pronunciation guide in the back and the map in the front.I started reading this after a reading slump and I’m happy to say I finished it quickly! Couldn’t put it down.The book has a really good plot and story line with enough spice and romantic tension to keep you invested but not overdone. The character building was really well done. The back stories and histories were well described and didn’t drag on (ha! Drag on).** SPOILERSThe only thing I had a minor issue with was when it came time the deed to be done, Zovai was not the first to be with Lena. I thought that weird considering that they had felt the connection first, and it seemed like it would’ve solidified their initial feelings towards each other.Other than that, I love Lena as a character! She’s strong willed and smart. She recognizes that there are things she doesn’t know but that doesn’t stop her. I also love the MCs! Their personalities are different but they all blend well together. I was unable to form a favorite.Overall I’m very pleased with this story and I’m ready for the next one!

Oh my gosh, this was a FANTASTIC story! I'm just gutted about the cliffhanger, even though I know all will be well in the end( probably thanks to Vari, I imagine)- I mean, no one would buy a series of romance novels where all the main characters die, lol😁 Well unless you're Shakespeare!😂😍This was a rare novel that kept me on the edge of my seat! I'm super picky and hard to please in my old age, lol, but this really blew me away! My only issue was the way the author wrote Idroal- not sure if that "they/ them" stuff was supposed to be because the character was actually multifaceted somehow( not explained well), or because the author was trying to bow to the mob of 78 genders( hopefully not), but it was VERY VERY hard to read those parts and know what was going on. I had to keep going back and rereading to figure out who was doing & saying what, it was super confusing! That's why we have words in our language that have definitive meanings- to make order from potential chaos! Other than that, and the cliff hanger, this was really a fantastic book!!! I just wish the author had listed an actual release date for the sequel, instead of "coming soon"!!😂😍 And kudos to the author for the very unique way that she wrote the spice- very classy!😍 And thank you to the author for the pronunciation key at the back, it's rare that anyone does that and so frustrating as a reader to try and make sense of words and names that someone literally made up for a book!🩷🩷🩷 I can't wait for the sequel!!!

Lena was such a great protagonist, and her three dragons were fun. I really liked this story and I'm only disappointed there isn't a sequel already.

The framework of this story is good. The romance is solid and there is spice. I wish there was more character development, I don’t feel like the love interest characters had enough individual personality. The main character is a stereotypical “special girl” with special hair and is a princess which is ok. When you read fantasy you expect that. I loved Vari, the character is absolutely precious and adorable. Some of the dialogue between characters I found to be super awkward. Like I was literally cringing away from my phone as I was reading at times. But I powered through and ultimately enjoyed the story overall. Entertaining read.

Amazing!!!! Truly amazing!!!! I cried I laughed and I screamed so loud people ask if I was ok!!! Lena I hope you fly!!!! Now to wait and I hate waiting!!!

Nooooo with that ending I need the next book now. I have just devoured this book , I couldn't put it down. I loved Lena and her very hot swoony dragons. It was action-packed and I'm completely hooked on this brand new series. Incredible five-star read that I would highly recommend especially if you love your why choose romance with very hot swoony dragons.

This book took me on a world wind of surprises, just when i thought i had it all figured out BOOM the cliffhanger i didn’t see coming!The world building, the plot, the FMC & her men were very well written, every chapter left me wanting more, i could not put this book down.The romance is a medium burn and i would say it would be about 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 on the spice charts for me personally, but this is only the first book!Counting down the days until i see the release date for the second book because i can’t be left with that ending

Enjoyable read. I'm a sucker for dragon shifters and I was not disappointed with this book. Lena is a strong female character and very likeable. And her three dragons! Can't wait to read what happens next. That cliffhanger though!
