MP3 Player 64GB with Speaker Earphone Portable HiFi Lossless Sound MP3 Mini Music Player Voice Recorder E-Book HD Screen 1.8 inch Black Support up to 128GB

I purchased this because the 32Gb Micro SD card included holds 8 times more music than the $100 player (4Gb Sansa Rhapsody) I've used for years. The ability to add up to a 128Gb card is fantastic. I have so much music I want to load. The sound quality is excellent with great bass on my existing earbuds. The earbuds included provide adequate sound quality, but do not fit my own ears, so if these do not work for you, use what you find comfortable. The built-in speaker is a useful feature for reviewing voice recordings, though I would not use it for musical enjoyment as you would not be able to hear it well in a noisy environment. The built in equalizer has several pre-sets for Rock, pop, jazz, etc. I would have preferred one I could manually set, but scrolling thru the pre-set , I can find an agreeable setting. The other features of this player (e-reader, video player, games, voice recorder, FM radio...) may prove handy one day, but I primarily got this to use as a music player and it has already proven outstanding in that capacity. Above was my initial impression. After using the player for music playback for several days, I noticed the following… I initially loaded the player with two large folders of music, about 500 songs/1.6Gb in each. I set the player to ‘random’ song selection while listening. The first listening session produced a random selection of the selected folder’s contents as should be expected. However, after powering down the player, then coming back later to listen some more, the song I selected to begin the new session played through, but the next songs to follow were the same songs in the exact order as my initial ‘random’ session. So far, I have not been able to get the player to play anything but the same sequence again & again… even using the track skip ( |<< >>| ) buttons. It just steps through the same sequence of songs. My solution was to load my two large playlists onto my old Sansa 4Gb player where the ‘shuffle’ feature creates a truly random selection each time. I don’t know if the Arungo player has a max playlist size issue where it has trouble randomizing properly. I haven’t experimented yet with smaller lists. That said, the 32Gb SD card on the Arungo player still holds HUNDREDS of albums worth of music. I am nowhere near filling it up yet. I can only imagine how much a 128Gb will hold. I used to lug around a tape case in the car that held 120 cassettes. The 32Gb card would hold all that music and not get close to filling up. Anyway, I listen to albums in the track sequence they were initially recorded in anyway, ditto for my own mix collections, so the random play issue is not a factor here. One final note. In the player’s box, I found a card stating that if I took a screen shot of my product review and my order number and sent it to Arungo’s customer service e-mail, they would send me a free gift. I did this and was replied to immediately and offered either 1) another 32Gb Micro SD card, or 2) an armband holder for the player. I selected the armband and it arrived in the mail a couple days later. It is very well made, adjustable to fit a wide range of arm sizes, holds the player securely, and allows for easy insertion & removal of the player. This player is well worth the price for its memory capacity & expandability, sound quality, and range of functions. The random play issue is a minor inconvenience at worst. UPDATE May 2021: I recently loaded a 128GB Micro SD card (SanDisk) in the player. If you plan to do this with yours, be advised that you will need to re-format your card to the file system compatible with the player. High capacity SD cards 128GB and higher use the exFAT file system which will not work properly with this MP3 player. UN-fortunately... Windows (at least Win 7) does not offer an option to format to the required file system when you right click on your SD card and select the 'Format' option. I will update this post when I double check to see what the correct file system is. I had to use a 3rd-party formatting application. I used 'EaseUS Partition Master'. Once properly formatted, the player reads the loaded folders & files with no issues. Otherwise, with an exFAT formatted card, the player just reads the loaded files as a long list and does not place into folders, albums, etc.

I bought this little guy in the summer and I love him so much. This baby can hold so many songs! It's simple and easy to use. The sound quality is fantastic as well. I love that I can just listen to whatever I want, whenever I want. No ads. No subscriptions. No nonsense. And if I get bored of my own music, there's a whole radio function so I can listen to whatever station I want, and there's not even a need for wifi for it. And there's radio presets, which is pretty sick too. And to top it all off, the company contacted me when I got this guy to make sure everything was going smoothly, and they were really kind and everything. I got this mp3 player because I was sick of smartphones and modern technology, and let me tell you it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. Premium music streaming services are overrated. Get yourself one of these babies.

I need a replacement for my old iPod, and I certainly don't need an iPod Touch, with all the bells and whistles, so I decided to try the Arungo mp3 player. Big mistake. This is the worst piece of garbage I've spent money on in many years -- junk software and junky construction. I certainly wouldn't have bought it if I could have tested it beforehand. From the start, half the mp3s I loaded onto the sd card would trigger a "format error" message when I tried to play them on the player, even though none were from iTunes -- all are lower bitrate mp3s. Now, after a few trips to run errands and one 2 hour commute, every song, every push of the play button, triggers a "format error" message -- nothing will play. I thought maybe it was low on charge, but no, the same thing still happens after a recharge. My computer will not recognize it either now. When I plug it in, the player charges, but I now have no access to the sd card. The menu structure is the most counter-intuitive piece of software I've ever encountered -- very frustrating. You need to refer to the manual in order to learn the tricks needed to get to where you want to go in the menu (then you need to try to remember them). It is practically impossible to find and play a specific song that you've loaded on the sd card in the player's menu. I tried it, but junk software stood in my way. You have to push play and skip forward until you find something you want to hear. There are no playlists -- you have to dump all the songs into one file. Random mode always starts with the same song, and it definitely plays favorites -- it selects songs from only a couple of bands. I'll send it back next time I drive to town (in silence).

i’ll make a better review soon. i just got this today, so i haven’t been using it for long, but so far, i love it. i bought it for nostalgia, and so i could stop paying for music apps. the player is very lightweight, but it doesn’t feel completely plastic-y, if that makes sense. there’s a smooth finish to it that makes it feel a bit sturdy. it fits comfortably in my hand, and perfectly in my pocket. however, i do wish there was a case + screen protector for this cause i can tell this would scratch easy. arungo tech if you’re reading this — please make a hard case & screen protector 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 getting music onto the player is easy. use the cable provided and plug it into your computer. no need for a sd card reader. if you need a converter for youtube songs, i recommend mediahuman. the functionality is OK. the buttons are loud and clacky. the player turns on and off using a switch on the bottom. controls are a little hard to get a hang of, but it’s manageable. you kind of have to mess around and find everything out. the volume button doubles as a back button in most cases. rewind & forward buttons = up & down. i haven’t tested its battery life, but once i do, i’ll update. (UPDATE: the battery life is AMAZING. player lasts days, weeks even on a single charge.) as for music playback, it’s really good. the player is loud as HELL actually, even at a low volume. i don’t recommend using the headphones that come with the player. they’re not horrible, in fact, they’re great considering how cheap this player is. but, they’re extremely uncomfortable, and they water down the player’s potential. if you have your own wired headphones, use those instead. it’ll sound and feel a lot better. i saw a bunch of people in the reviews complaining about bluetooth? i fear we’ve lost the plot because this player comes with headphones and has a headphone jack… of course there’s no bluetooth 😭😭😭 back onto the topic of music playback. there’s equalizer settings, but they don't seem to make that big of a difference (unless you use over-ear headphones). i just keep it on default. i also noticed there’s a weird fade at the start of songs? not sure what’s that about, but it’s not bothersome, so i ignore it. there are options to loop songs, individual folders, and certain parts of songs. as far as i know, you can’t make playlists, and there doesn’t seem to be a queue. i’ll update if i figure it out, but if you want a certain song to play next, you have to manually go and select it from your library. if you want a “playlist”, you have to put your music into separate folders. shuffle feature is kind of useless because it shuffles every song on the mp3, not just songs in an individual folder. (UPDATE: i found a way to create a 'playlist' & shuffle within a single folder. like i said in the previous paragraph, put your music into separate folders, THEN, put that folder inside an empty folder. you'll be able to loop & shuffle without other songs getting into the mix.) there’s also features for videos, voice memos, the radio, and ebooks. i haven’t tried anything other the radio, which works perfectly. another thing that a lot of people don’t talk about is the game feature? this thing has bootleg tetris on it 😭😭😭😭 it’s a little hard to navigate but it’s there and i thought it was cool. yeah. (UPDATE: i love the voice memo feature! it works great. i've been using it to record my class lectures so i can listen to them later) all in all, this mp3 player is cool so far and i do recommend it for the nostalgia/price. as i use it more, i’ll continue to update!

nice little player; good sound quality when used with decent headphones. small speaker also to preview songs Strangely the player has no memory of last song played. Starts on same song every time So you have to fast forward and skip to new music

i bought this for the mp3 player, but it does much more! FM radio, stores files, images, small videos . I only appreciate the music player, which has excellent sound quality (even has a small built-in speaker). quite an amazing device for only a few grams. i can listen to fm radio or tons of music as i cut the grass or exercise - its really nice, and much better than my previous player which was 4gb and had smaller battery. highly recommend! this model does not have bluetooth, which i did not want, but there are other arungo models if you need that feature ! this is a great little player, perfect for me. very attractive, durable, simple and elegant design. Highly recommend for this very low price an many features! thanks Arungo!

Nice little player!

Relatively Simple to use and pretty reliable. I've had a couple, one I smashed on a jobsite accident so I bought another as I was familiar with the layout. The second failed and Arungo fixed me up with a new one even after explaining logically how it may have been my fault for it's early failure. Whether it was a faulty product or my fault we'll never know but I was pleased they replaced it and it's still my go to mp3 for music. At the current selling price it would be hard to go wrong here.

Works very well. Battery last a long time between charges. Music sounds very good & was easy to upload, etc. Very pleased with our purchase.
