I was a little afraid to purchase because of the mixed reviews. But, these shapewear shorts do stay in place pretty well and I liked that they were high waisted.However, they aren't true to size especially in the waist and hips. I think they fit more like a 2x instead of the 3x that I ordered. I was in a time crunch and needed some shapewear to wear underneath a jumpsuit for an event and they did the job. The price is also a lot cheaper than many of the brands on Amazon.They definitely take some work to put on because they aren't true to size but I wasn't uncomfortable or anything while wearing them. However, if the sizes were true they would have been much better because the material feels very durable. I'd suggest for this brand to make sizes past 3x since the sizing is inconsistent.If you are a girl with larger hips like me then these might not be for you.

I found it to have great support. I got a 2x which is the size I wear; but it was a lot of effort to get it on.

First, I ordered a Medium in black 5'2"/130lbs. I've gained some weight, but working on losing 10lbs, so the Medium works well) and it has good control and smooths out the look of my torso. But, for more control under more slim fitting clothes, I am ordering a Small in beige.

It shapes very well. Only bad thing is that it feels rough on skin, scratchy and uncomfortable material
