I’ve used many cheap versions of frownies and these are not very good because they don’t prevent me frowning in my sleep. They’re a one time use unlike other brands and are actually pretty pointless

As my usual brand of Smoothies was out of stock, I thought these might be a suitable replacement. However, they don’t work. They’re too pliable to properly smooth the creases and they don’t stick properly.

This is my first time using face tape. I’ve been wanting to try this for a while. I’ve tried silicon patches in the past, but they can only be worn while in a lying down position since they seem to fall off easily since they’re pretty thick and heavy. I followed the instructions in the included pamphlet. I also rounded the corners of the cut patches before applying which isn’t mentioned in the instructions but I know this from previously wearing kinesiology tape on the body. It helps to round the corners so the tape stays on better. I left the tape on for two hours as suggested. It felt gentle enough and comfortable on the skin. I only had an issue with the full face lift patch because it wasn’t sitting flat on the lower part of my nose but that’s my own fault because I could have placed it a little bit more towards my cheeks and not too close to the middle of my face. After removing it (and I didn’t need any water or oil to remove the patches) my laugh lines which I always had naturally since I can remember were half gone and only remained right under my nose since I didn’t place the patch right. It’s important to place the patches on the right angle and of course making sure that the skin is completely flat right under the adhesive. It was a tiny bit red for the next 10 min after I removed the patches. My frown lines were not visible at all. This is great to wear before any photoshoots or big events. The immediate results don’t stay, but with daily use it will definitely help reduce expression lines, promote circulation and lymphatic drainage to promote cell renewal, reduce puffiness and flush out toxins from our face for clearer and more glowing skin. Personally being 37 with my main concern being the frown lines I will continue using this nightly while I sleep only in that area. It does say not to use overnight however, so I will try at my own risk. The included pamphlet states not to use overnight but then In the description it states that it can be used overnight, so I assume it can be and that’s a typo. I know other tapes can be used overnight. Whenever I feel like my face is a little puffy, I will use it all over in the mornings before leaving the house. You can do your eye makeup while wearing the tape and then finish applying everywhere else after removing the tape. It needs to be used consistently to see long term results however like with any other beauty product. I wish there was more examples of how to apply it. Especially for forehead concerns like myself. This focuses more on the lower parts of the face, but we are lucky that they actually have decent instructions included in the box. Overall the tape is gentle enough and sticks to the skin even on top of face products and is definitely worth a try.

I’m following a lady on youtube showing how to do face yoga and she talked about the benefits of wrinkling tape too. She mentioned that it is especially helpful when worn overnight, but in the included instructions of this tape, it is not recommended to wear it more than 2hours…After testing a small piece of tape behind my ear, as suggested, for 2 hours, I still decided to wear it overnight; IT WORKS 🤩I got different colors of this tape, so my reviews are alike.Know that it is one time use; it won’t stick back. I cut a triangular one for my “frowning”, and split in two the width for over my mouth, showing I do smile 😉I saw the difference in the morning, but as soon as I started smiling back, it can back.So if done every second night or so, it might decrease the deepest of some lines.
