At $245, this Iron Man-style interactive helmet would really benefit from a healthy dose of polish.Unfortunately, as one could expect, the instructions are very lacking. At first, I thought this was a children's helmet, not meant for adults, but after some trial and error (and carefully reading between the lines of the non-native English instructions), the back section is meant to detach for the helmet to be put on. Even then, it's a bit of a tight squeeze for an adult sized head.The wiring is exposed inside the helmet and I would worry about a) getting it exposed to the elements b) long term durability.Both the helmet and remote require batteries (not included). At this price, USB charging would have been much more convenient. The remote is bigger than one would expect and not solidly constructed at all. Luckily, the remote isn't mandatory for operation. Voice control and side of the helmet touch control work decently.Probably the highlight of this product is the look. It's a handsome looking helmet, even if it is plastic. It's lightweight and the mask opening and closing is sure to impress. So it's fine as decorative, bookshelf conversation piece. Overall, if the price isn't a deterrent and the expectations aren't high, it's still a pretty novel, fun Iron Man-style helmet.
