It came "folded" inside a plastic bag and the creases from folding it into packaging made it impossible to lay it flat on the keyboard anymore. The cheap packaging destroyed what appears to be a good product. Returning this overpriced defective product.

So far I've purchased 6 other keyboard covers on Amazon and this one has blown me away. Here are the brands I have tried before: MOSISO ProElife IBENZER Masibloom I've tried silicone covers, rubber covers, the ones with the keyboard shortcuts, and other stuff and I always have some kind of problem with them. All of them warp after a while, some are hard (meaning that typing requires more force), they change color, they require some stickers to stay on the keyboard, and sometimes I can't see the keys because the backlight doesn't shine through. Just in general, I haven't really been pleased with the other options out there. But they were fine. And when my last one finally got to the end of its life (constantly falling off and getting dirty), I found this one from Soonjet. Let's talk about each aspect of the cover. FEEL 10/10 The keys feel soft to type on. It doesn't take nearly as much force as other translucent covers out there. Whether it's in cold temperatures or hot temperatures, this keyboard cover feels more like a rubber glove or condom than a thin plastic shell. LOOK 9/10 The photos in this listing alude to a "black" option, but I didn't find it at the time of writing (10/28/2024). However the gray option looks okay. My keyboard ends up looking dark gray instead of black like the original keyboard, but it looks decent in my opinion. Nothing to gripe about. The backlight shows through enough that I don't feel like this cover interferes with visibility. The keys are perfectly visible when typing in the dark even with the screen and keys both at their lowest brightness setting. STABILITY 8/10 This cover grips the keys slightly better than rubber keyboard covers. It only falls off when you turn the macbook completely upside down. Blowing with my mouth from the sides doesn't make the cover fly off unless I blow really hard. I can see this being pretty stable in most wind unless it's really super windy outside. It stays on very well overall. The only thing better would be adding double-sided stickers to keep the cover attacked, but those are super visible and take away from the clean look of the apple keyboard. DURABILITY 10/10 I'm writing this review after using only for a few days. So I cannot say anything about how long this will last, but even if it only lasts 6 months before I need a new one, I can say I will happily order a new one. Very pleased with the "new" experience. EDIT: over a year later with constant daily typing and I still don’t see any warping. This thing still looks like it did on day one. 10/10 durability. Overall, this is the best I've found. There are only two things I would want to see improved: 1. A truly black option that emulates the original color of my macbook keyboard. 2. Some kind of adhesive on the cover that isn't attached to the actual keys themselves. I've gotten keyboard covers that come with a set of stickers you have to add to the keys and you can see them under the cover. They are super obvious and stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe the manufacturer could add adhesive on the outer edge or between the keys. It could come preinstalled on the cover and when installing for the first time, you could peel off the backing and install it.

Really good material quality, fits perfectly onto the keyboard and feels nice to the touch.

Auch beim Tippen spürt man keinen störenden Widerstand oder klebriges Gefühl, was bei vielen günstigen Folien leider oft der Fall ist. Was mir allerdings nicht ganz so gut gefällt, ist die Rauchglas-Optik. Sie sieht zwar hochwertig aus und gibt dem MacBook ein etwas edleres Erscheinungsbild, aber sie ist für meinen Geschmack einen Tick zu dunkel geraten. Ohne Hintergrundbeleuchtung wirken die Buchstaben dadurch spürbar gedämpft und sind in schwachem Licht schwerer zu erkennen. Sobald man jedoch die Tastaturbeleuchtung einschaltet, fällt dieser Nachteil kaum noch ins Gewicht. Insgesamt bin ich trotzdem sehr zufrieden: Die Qualität stimmt, die Abdeckung sitzt perfekt und schützt zuverlässig vor Staub und Krümeln. Wer eine dunklere Optik mag oder ohnehin meist mit Beleuchtung arbeitet, bekommt hier ein wirklich gelungenes Produkt. ⸻ Wenn du willst, kann ich dir noch eine Variante mit leicht anderem Ton (lockerer, technischer, nüchterner, humorvoller – je nach Stil) erstellen.

I’ve been using the Soonjet Premium Keyboard Cover Protector for a couple weeks now on my MacBook and overall I’m really happy with it. The material is super thin — you can barely tell it’s there, and it doesn’t interfere much with typing. It fits my keyboard layout nicely and hasn’t shifted around while I type, which was a big worry for me with ultra-thin covers. 👍 What I like: • Ultra-thin design: Typing feels natural and soft, almost like there’s no cover at all. • Good protection: Keeps dust, oils, and minor spills off the keys. My keyboard definitely looks cleaner since I started using it. • Backlight compatibility: The backlighting still shows through well, so I can type easily in low light. • Easy to clean: Washing it is simple — just rinse and dry, and it looks new again. ⚠️ What could be better: • It does slightly, just very slightly change the typing feel — the keys feel a touch softer than without a cover, but this didn’t bother me much after a day of use. It felt comfortable after. Overall, for the price, this is a solid keyboard protector that does its job without getting in the way. If you want a cover that’s almost invisible but still protects your keys, this one is worth it!
