A classic planner that never fails.
The Hobonichi line of products is known worldwide for the quality of their paper and the flexibility of their design. The Techo is no exception. It is small (A6) enough to fit in a purse and works great as a day journal or for daily planning. I find the monthly calendar blocks too small for planning purposes but they are handy for tracking habits, tracking health issues, or making very brief notations. It also makes a great "junk journal" for those who want the fun of using stickers or washi or gluing in small photos or graphics without the need to fill a large page. The paper is thin yet sturdy and resists bleeding from many pens. There are a variety of covers both clear and patterned available for the Techo to protect or decorate the book.

Bullet journal meets daily planner
It’s giving that little date planner from the New York Minute movie with MK and Ashley Olsen. This little perfectly sized book has changed my life. The creative options are endless as well as accessories you can buy for it to make it your own style. Also easily the most high quality paper I’ve ever seen in a planner. Each sheet feels insanely thin but does not affect the integrity of the book itself or the way your inks will write. I also love that the book opens flat which helps with writing on smaller pages. Goes SO perfectly with Crayola SuperTips markers and any of the Pilot Frixion Eraseable pens and no amount of rough erasing will break the page down. No markers bleeding through the pages. It’s a satisfying beautiful dream book and I’m forever changed!

This Planner is Basically Perfect
Who doesn't love Hobonichi? It's small enough to be carried along everywhere. The tomoe river paper is so thin and, even with a fountain pen, can be written on both sides without too much bleed through. But it's the structure of the planner that's the best part. I use the vertical monthly calendar to record when I'll be working on which projects. Then the horizontal monthly layout to record the major due dates and travel, with the side notes section for the specific steps that I'll accomplish each week of the month. And then the daily planner for the day-to-day tasks. It's perfect for my system. My only issue is with the 24hr time segmentation on the daily pages. My brain is attuned to the 12-hour am/pm set up. So, in some ways, I think I prefer the Hobonichi Techno Planner over the Hobonichi Techno Original because the Techno Planner doesn't have the time pre-written in the margins. Instead, there's a space for you to write in your own time. But whichever way you go, I think you'll be happy with a Hobonichi. There's a reason they've been around for as long as they have.

Perfect for a small dated daily journal
Very nicely packaged and very great quality!! It’s smaller than the cousin, so I will be using it more as a daily journal as opposed to a planner! It has enough space on the daily’s for a small amount of decoration as well as note taking. The months are in the front and not in between the daily’s which I found interesting as I would have like to see my full month overview in between the daily’s but that’s okay! Perfect for what I intend to use it for. The paper thickness is thin but that is how these planners have always been made. Think the thinness of a bible page, as you can see through to the writing on the other side

Annual purchase
This is my second Hobonichi journal. I wish the pages were slightly thicker because markers can bleed through slightly if you’re not careful. Other than that, no complaints. It’s good quality — the spine has never torn despite stuffing the journal with all sorts of things. The petite size makes it easy to transport. I love the graph paper design. The quotes are great, and the suggested prompts in the back are appreciated. I anticipate an annual purpose for years to come.

The perfect daily journal
This is perfect for keeping a daily journal! I write kind of big so I just jot a few sentences about my day and then put a little doodle. It's about the size of my hand and fits into my purse nicely. The paper doesn't really bleed through and is good quality.

Worth More than Imagined
No other agenda book is better. The size is perfect to carry around. It contains so many ways to keep track of dates, appointments. The layout is ingenious. Months and years and , to tell you the truth, after using the Hobonici Tech for three years I discover more ways to use it, as well as extra features like quotes on each page that are not trite but wise or thought provoking. Worth every penny. Paper thin enough to flick through easily. Durable for sure. I’ve beaten mine up but the innards are untouched.

As described and well used.
Bought for oldest child who raves this is the perfect size and style for them. Pages are thin making it less bulky and everything is exactly as described. Already on the Christmas Wishlist for replenishment this year.
